The cottage was perfect for me and my fiancee. Lita was a wonderful host who went above and beyond. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet.
Our stay in Hercules was simply wonderful. We could not have asked for better hosts. Lita and her husband made us feel like old friends from the moment we met them. The cottage was beautiful. It was cozy and cute and clean. Everything you need in a home away from home was provided. My husband and I were looking for a place to get away and hibernate for a few days and this was the perfect place to do it. We loved all the walking paths that run alongside San Pablo Bay. There are two restaurants within walking distance of the cottage and everything and anything else you could possibly need are a short drive away. Thank you Lita for the perfect getaway. Highly recommended!!
I've stayed at Lena's place several times and will do so again soon. It's always clean and comfortable. It's in a nice, safe neighborhood. There's plenty of parking spots available nearby on the streets. Lita always communicates promptly.
Lita's cottage is absolutely wonderful! It is cozy and includes everything you might need while on holiday. The neighborhood, which sits along the bay, is beautiful and quiet. Lita is just as wonderful; she greeted us, made sure we got into the cottage ok and then let us get on with our holiday. I look forward to staying in the cottage again, it is an amazing value for the price. I highly recommend!
Lita was great and the home was fantastic. Great location and ideal for a trip out of the city. We will definitely be back!
Lita was an exceptional host. I contacted Lita, looking for accommodations for my parents when they visited me, my wife and our new baby in Hercules. The cottage was very clean, and Lita provided additional sheets for my parents, in case they needed them. My parents enjoyed their stay, and we will likely use the cottage for future family visits. Thank you.
Lita was a great host. She was in contact with me a few days before we got there with all the things we needed to know about our stay at her cottage. When we arrived, Lita helped us into the cottage and we enjoyed our first night just relaxing. Lita had interesting book on the history if Hercules as well as a binder with helpful tips on local food, shopping and entertainment. The cottage is located in a quite neighborhood and was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed to start our days off (coffee, tea, clean towels, snacks). We spent 4 days in wine country. I would have to say, wine country was a bit far from the cottage but if you don't mind the drive, the scenery is beautiful. Lita was not intrusive on our space and time. We highly recommend staying with Lita.
I have lived in the Bay Area almost all my life. My husband and I operate and manage the family audio business, Glow Audio. My husband is also a lawyer, 20+ years and counting. We enjoy taking our boys to San Francisco and other parts of the Bay Area to explore the different neighborhoods. Even though we have lived here for many years, we always find areas we haven't yet discovered. We are huge fans of our sports teams: Giants, 49ers, A's, Raiders, and Warriors. We welcome you to our home.
