  • Simple but good apartment to enjoy Bruxelles for a few days. Good feel in, more inside that outside the building. Perfect location and very nice view from the little balcony. Bruno is a very gentle and kind owner; he received us perfectly and gave us the possibility to stay in the apartment until five 'o clock in the afternoon.
    We'd come back, if possible.

  • Good location, great view, nice host, no problems.

Very good appartement for one or a couple on a city visit.

Noise insultation is not great, so if you need a very quiet place this might not be perfect, but for me this didn't matter.

  • Bruno's place was absolutely wonderful, and I was sad to have to leave it!

I stayed there for three full months from January - March as I studied french at a nearby school, and it was perfect for me. It was very clean and spacious, and it had everything I needed to live there for three full months. Lots of amenities: wifi, digital cable, iron, full kitchen, toiletries, etc. Bruno was a great host and he even drove me to the airport upon returning to the states. He was very communicative and checked in with me regularly to see how things were going. :)

The neighborhood is wonderful too-- lots of cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby, and only a 15-20 minute walk from the center of Brussels, although you can always take the bus or the subway, both of which are easily accessible from this spot.

I would highly, highly recommend Bruno as a host, and this place is wonderful!

  • After a small hiccup with our arrival time into the city and an issue with the keys for the apartment we were greeted by the most lovely and helpful Bruno. He made sure we were kept entertained and warm until we were able to get into the apartment and even gave us a complimentary tour of his city and let us know some incredible places to walk, eat, and see the sights. Everything was exactly as described in the apartment and Bruno made himself as available as possible to whatever we might need during our stay. He was easy to speak to (we didn't get to speak to Leslie, but we're sure she is just as kind!) and was very eager the help. The apartment is SO LOCAL! It's in a great location close to everything you need and such a short walk into the very heart of Brussels. It was a lovely central place for us to be and it made our trip to Brussels so easy and relaxing. Thank you Bruno!

  • Had a really great stay with Bruno, he was friendly, ready with his personal take on how to best enjoy Bruxelles during the Christmas period and the best place to get food, as well as some beers and travel advice books on hand which were really helpful. The apartment was comfortable and the view is exactly as perfect as the pictures. Conveniently located close to the city centre, we especially enjoyed going to randomly found cafes on our way to and from the apartment. Cheers!

  • We had a great stay in Bruno & Leslie's wonderful apartment!
Everything is exactly as is in the pictures, including the amazing view! :)
Even though we didn't get the chance to meet Bruno in person, he made sure his sister was there to take care of us on arrival and was available to us throughout our stay for any questions or advice on the city :)
A great place to stay when visiting Brussels.

  • We had a great stay at Bruno and Leslie this December, the apartment is perfectly located with excellent facilities. Bruno's communication was excellent and extremely helpful, although we never had the pleasure to meet him due to his work commitments. However we did meet his sister who handed the keys to us, she was also extremely helpful. Overall a great stay and recommended!

  • Very nice place, true to description and pictures. Bruno is very easy-going and communicative. Thank you for guesting us and for the Beers and fruits!
Sympathique appartement conforme à la description et aux photos. Bruno est "non-compliqué" et communicatif. Merci pour l'accueil ainsi que pour les bières et les fruits!

  • Had a great stay at Bruno & Leslie's apartment. Bruno met me at the flat and was very friendly. Provided a couple of Brussels Guide books and left some beers in the fridge, too!! Waking up from the comfy bed to daybreak & just being able to look out the huge floor to ceiling windows seven floors up & take in the skyline was magical. It was December and i was blessed with wonderful blue skies - perfect!

Born in Brussels we have been living in the Ixelles neighborhood since our young age. After my university degree in computer science I choose to travel around the world (Australia, Asia, Latin America, ...). During this period Leslie ended a Phd in Chemistry close to Chicago. When I went back to Brussels I bought a small and cosy apartment offering us a daily landscape on the city. We have been living 5 years at this place. With Leslie we loved to live there, we could fall asleep looking at the stars and wake up front of a blue or a cloudy sky. We also loved to live in this place due to the neighbourhood having a real Brussels soul and ideally located. Sometime we came back from work and easily joined friends to any bar, some time we were tired and choose to stay quiet at home or at the last minute we changed our plan and went to cinema or to restaurant. The sunday we loved to wake up and to walk to the centrum of the city to look at any exhibition or just to stroll on the Brussels' streets. Sometime we got the feeling of living in a cozy hotel room and early we started to think about sharing our place with guest from all around the world. Since we discovered AirBnB it looked to us as a perfect match. We enjoy the idea of welcoming guest in our native city and to help them to love it :)
