  • Lovely location, lovely view! Bruno could not have been nicer or more helpful. Parking available but not free......however, I would never recommend driving in Bruxelles anyway!! :-O

  • The apartment was clean, spacious, safe and had beautiful view of Brussel. It is located 20-25 min away from Gare de Central station by foot. Also, there was other options such as subway and bus which were close to apartment. There are many good cafes around the apartment . Bruna was quite helpful, he was always in communication with us. I certainly recommend to stay at Bruno's apartment, if it is not important to stay in a very central location.

    A recommander donc.

  • We had a great time in Bruno & Leslie´s apartment, with an awesome view over Brussels. The apartment was clean and well kept. Bruno was very friendly and helpful, although we had some trouble to get to the apartment because of the G7-summit (closed streets…). We were very comfortable during our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

  • We had a decent time at Bruno & Leslie's apt. It was a little difficult to find but we made it. Anyway, the apt. Its in an older building, that it's slightly rundown, it is small, but in Europe all housing is small. The neighborhood it's primary locals so you won't feel like a tourist, it's friendly & a decent walk to the main Plaza. Their transportation system seems very good but my biggest complaint it's that OVERALL, Brussels does not cater to tourism, most of their literature it's in French or Dutch and if you don't speak either good luck. We visited Spain, France, Belgium & Amsterdam. Belgium was my least favorite. If you don't mind walking & are fluent in either French or Dutch you'll enjoy Brussels.

  • It was very easy to communicate with Bruno. We had train delays and luckily I was able to send him messages via the wifi on the Thalys. He was called last minute to a meeting but his sister was able to meet us. I am thankful that he was able to make other arrangements due to our delay. The neighborhood is walking distance to many shops, restaurants, cafes and the metro. However, it is a bit of a walk to the city center. The flat is exactly how it is pictured with the amazing views. The building however on the outside did not quite match the inside of the flat. The flat included satellite tv and we were able to find many English speaking channels!

Born in Brussels we have been living in the Ixelles neighborhood since our young age. After my university degree in computer science I choose to travel around the world (Australia, Asia, Latin America, ...). During this period Leslie ended a Phd in Chemistry close to Chicago. When I went back to Brussels I bought a small and cosy apartment offering us a daily landscape on the city. We have been living 5 years at this place. With Leslie we loved to live there, we could fall asleep looking at the stars and wake up front of a blue or a cloudy sky. We also loved to live in this place due to the neighbourhood (email hidden) soul and ideally located. Sometime we came back from work and easily joined friends to any bar, some time we were tired and choose to stay quiet at home or at the last minute we changed our plan and went to cinema or to restaurant. The sunday we loved to wake up and to walk to the centrum of the city to look at any exhibition or just to stroll on the Brussels' streets. Sometime we got the feeling of living in a cozy hotel room and early we started to think about sharing our place with guest from all around the world. Since we discovered AirBnB it looked to us as a perfect match. We enjoy the idea of welcoming guest in our native city and to help them to love it :)
