Daise is a wonderful host with an ideally located flat in the Christ Church neighborhood. We found the entire city to be very walkable from her location. Daise made sure that we were comfortable and able to check in and out at times that worked best for our travel schedule which was really appreciated. She also provided detailed directions on how to get from the airport to her place via public transport. Best of all, on our last day she let us cook up a lovely Irish breakfast for all of us to share. Enjoy your stay with her, she's fantastic!
We had a very great moment in Daise's house. She is a very kind and easygoing person.
The apartment, modern, comfortable, clean and close to the city centre gave us everything we needed to enjoy our trip in Dublin.
Highly recommended !
Daise and her boyfriend were fantastic hosts! The room was clean and the location was very central. Daise offered some great suggestions for day trips out of the city which we greatly enjoyed. Great place to stay!
The time with Daise was simply perfect. Very central place, easy to reach by bus from the airport, very clean and comfortable. Daise is awesome - very kind, helpful and sweet! We've really enjoyed our time and thank you very much for a great time in wheelans! xx
very good stay in Dublin with the help of Daise and her hospitality. thank you
I didn't stay long enough to really meet Daise, but everything was perfect. Daise explained me everything, the room was really clean, everything that I needed was there, so really happy. I'll come again, to be able to meee Daise longer.
My friend & I were in Dublin for 28 days for an exchange & loved every single minute of it immensely. A major reason for that was Daise & her lovely apartment. Daise was the perfect host, dishing out great advice to explore the city & going out of her way to make us feel comfortable & at home.
The apartment itself was delightfully cosy and fully furnished with everything we needed. Daise even reorganised the room to include 2 single beds for us which was a big help. The location was also fantastic - away from the hustle & bustle of the city centre but still near the major attractions such as temple bar (10 minute walk). Phoenix park is also a 15 minute walk away. Groceries can also be bought from several supermarkets 2 minutes away. The Thomas House directly opposite the apartment was a lovely bar that plays a great range of music that we would listen to from the comfort of our room!
In conclusion, we highly recommend a stay at Daise's should you be in Dublin. It exceeded our expectations, and then some!
My 8 day stay in Dublin was fantastic, largely in part to my stay with Daise and Brian. They are amazing hosts. My first day Daise went out and picked up a bunch of maps and brochures of places to visit in and around Dublin. Her and Brian also gave me all sorts of suggestions of places to see. One evening while watching some music I was greeted by Brian who happened to see me and stopped to say hello. We went to several local places together and I had a great time.
The place is centrally located, a nice walk one direction and you are in the Temple Bar area, a nice walk the other direction and you are at the beautiful Phoenix park. Buses pick up right out front of the place and the train stations are close by as well. If you don't want to wonder far, there are shops, pubs, and restaurants all within a few meters.
My stay with Daise was more like visiting old friends than staying in a strangers house. Thanks for the great time Daise and Brian!
Nice place well situated, on Thomas St, close to Temple bar, Guiness factory, Liffey River. Many shops around (Lidl, Spar, Tesco...), fast food, bar, bus and Dublin City Bike. I stayed there for 8 days and everything was ok.
Although the room is small, it is really convenient since it has the most important features, such as internet, TV and a good bed. The apartment is located at the heart of Dublin, but the noise from the street did not effect our beauty-sleep at all :)
My wife and I shared the apartment with two girls who were studying in Dublin at the time, and both of them were kind and quite informative. Daise left the apartment when we arrived, but told us the most basic things and she was also very kind.
So if you want to stay in Dublin for a week or so and don't want to spend a lot of money on expensive hotel rooms, then you should give Daise's room a try :)
