  • Maggie was a lovely host. She is very welcoming and helpful about information in the local area.

  • I needed a place in Bristol for work and found Maggie's place.

It was clean and had everything I needed. I would stay there again.

My only regret was not to have met Maggie face to face whilst staying there, as she was away on holiday. But Maggie was always contactable through email even though she was away, so that was very useful.

    January 2014
  • We are a retired couple visiting Bristol to help our daughter move house.

Staying at Maggie's was a great 'refuge' from the busyness! The room is warm, comfortable and we loved the range of teas in the room with the kettle AND jaffa cakes. Thank you!

The local shops and cafes are definitely worth a visit - Maggie gave us some good recommendations.

The bed was lovely and we slept well.

There's a glass panel over the door to the hallway and we were a bit worried we'd be woken by the light in the hall. Maggie's very aware of this and had the hall light out all night. She has welcome night lights in the hallway for the night visit to the loo!

  • This is a great place. It's a combination of the luxury and comfort of a hotel and the cosiness and relaxed air of a home.
    Thanks Maggie

Buteyko Breathing Method Instructor
Hi and thanks for looking at my profile. I'm from England and I divide my time between Buenos Aires and the UK. I've been in Buenos Aires since 2002 so can give guests plenty of information about this fabulous city and help them get the most out of their stay. When I'm in the UK I let my home in Argentina as a complete unit. I offer bed and breakfast in my two spare rooms when I am at home in Buenos Aires. I also manage a lovely big apartment for a friend from the States, which is the other Buenos Aires listing here. Both spacious, elegant and characterful apartments have three bedrooms and are in the historic centre of the city. When I'm in Bristol, I welcome Airbnb visitors to my two spare bedrooms - room only basis with tea, coffee, cable tv and high speed wifi in each room. Bristol is a thriving and exciting city - I'll help you get around and find what you need here. My passion is tango and, lately, teaching a breathing method called Buteyko, which has helped me overcome lifelong asthma - websites for any info are buteykobristol and buteykoargentina. If you have any questions about my listings please feel free to contact me. best wishes and good hunting! Maggie
