My stay at Maggie's was perfect. Maggie is lovely, very easy going and accommodating. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and all the little details well thought out. Thanks Maggie!
This is the first time I have ever used airbnb so felt quite nervous as I normally stay in hotels but as I was just staying overnight to collect my daughter from University thought I would give it a go. Maggie was very welcoming and made me feel at home on arrival. The room was fine and bathroom facilities very clean. Easy to park right outside the house. My daughter was very concerned about the location (and this is someone who lives in Stoke Crofts) but personally found it fine and had no concerns. 'Edgy' is probably a fair description of the area but on leaving the house to get a taxi, felt very safe and good range of facilities close by. Would strongly recommend Maggie's house for a short term stay in Bristol. Probably best to get a Taxi into Bristol. Cost £10 but was in horrible traffic jam due to an accident so probably about £6 normally.
Lovely house/room. Clear and easy instructions from owner. Great location with an excellent bar on the same street. Comfy bed with lots of lovely white cotton bedding and lots of pillows to suit everyone. Lots of facilities provided for baby. Also whole house is extremely clean. My only recommedation is that you take your own milk if you like a morning brew! (kettle etc provided in room).
Unfortunately we didn't meet our host as she was away at the time. However, we communicated very effectively via email-messaging and everything worked out smoothly. Maggie responded swiftly to any enquiries we had and had left the key for us at a local pub nearby.
The room was bright and welcoming, the house clean and warm (quite necessary at this cold time of the year!).
We knew the area roughly as our son lives nearby, so no surprises, except for how conveniently near his home Maggie's place is. We like Easton with its multi-ethnic community, variety of off-beat places to eat out and buy food (especially the famous Sweetmart) and calmness.
We will book this place again when we come to visit and hope to meet Maggie next time, as we feel we share some common interests.
Maggie was away the week I stayed, but her communication was excellent and she made me feel welcome even though she was not there.
The room was very clean and tidy with a TV and hot drink making facilities.
Very nice house, very clean and confortable. The hostess very helpful and friendly. Recommend!
Maggie was a friendly and helpful host. Her place was very clean, neat, warm and comfortable. The kettle with tea and coffee in the room was most welcome, as well as the useful file of local information and maps.

Hi and thanks for looking at my profile.
I'm from England and have been dividing my time between Buenos Aires and the UK since 2002, offering Airbnb accommodation in both countries. I've recently
sold up in Argentina and am now in Bristol full time.
I welcome Airbnb visitors to my three spare bedrooms on a room-only basis. There is tea, coffee, and high speed wifi in each room with cable tv in two of the rooms. My visitors come to this thriving city on holiday, for weddings, and many stay for work commitments. I'll help you get around and find what you need in this lovely corner of England. It has been a great pleasure to host guests from all over the world. I find that Airbnb guests enjoy the informality of staying in a home rather than a hotel.
My passion is tango and, lately, teaching a breathing method called Buteyko, which has helped me overcome lifelong asthma - websites for any info are naturalbreathingtraining and buteykoargentina.

best wishes and good hunting!
