The Space

My house is a fisherman's cottage from 1827, which has been totally refurbished. The house is very nice with an atmosphere and has its own beach with a deck and access to a bathing bridge. There are 3 m from house to beach.

The whole house is 156 m2 and 1 floor - which is for rent - is approx. 45 m2. There are 3 rooms on 1 floor with sloping walls - 2 of the rooms with a view to the sea. One room has a sofa bed for two, another has a double bed and the room in the middle has a table and 4 chairs + a small refrigerator. There is access to bathroom and kitchen on the groundfloor.

Besides the deck on the beach there are 2 terraces in the garden, with grills both on the beach and in the garden which visitors are wecome to use.

Breakfast will not be served, but continental breakfast will be provided.

Weekdays there is a bus twice an hour to Køge, which is 10 km away and from Køge there is S-train every 10 min. to Copenhagen, which is 45 km away. The house has a double carport.

Køge is an old town with beautiful old houses and courtyards with live music in the summer. Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a flower- and vegetable market in the center of town.

There are many good restaurants as well as good shopping possibilities in (website hidden) 2010 Køge was nominated "Best shopping town of the year".

Vallø Castle is 10 min. drive from the house. Within walking distance there are two restaurants on the coast.

About
I have retired as head of international (email hidden) Business College, but is still working with a lot of different things, both internationally and locally. Presently being head of Zonta Køge, which is a local club of a worldwide organisation "Zonta International" focusing on "women help women". Besides I work in a couple of boards: SIEC International and our local art association. I am very fond of travelling and has done it very often - both privately and related to my job. And am used to having international visitors - which I enjoy. I am single (a widow) and have 3 sons, 3 daughters in-law and 9 grandchildren.
