Where you’ll be

Montegiove, Umbria, Italy

The small village of Montegiove (1.5 km.), with its Medieval castle and its historical winery that the owner, the Marquis Lorenzo Misciattelli, will be happy to open for you to taste his special wines locally produced, is situated on a hill over the valley of Nestore in one of the least urbanized areas in central Italy.

I'm freelance architect, I carry out my main business in interior design . I have a passion for photography, bridge, tennis, latin dance and I love to travel. Married with twin sons, I have the good fortune to entertain close friends in this place that I feel unique and unrepeatable. For about 10 years I have rented for a few select weeks through a private agency, almost exclusively to foreign guests. Now with children grown and aware, we want to dedicate ourselves to the management in person.

During your stay

During their stay, guests can count on the constant availability of Gina and Vittorio, the caretakers of the property who live in Montegiove, a very small village 1.5 km away. They are very discreet people who will not interfere with your activities but they will be immediately available for your requests. If you want, at a cost to be agreed directly with them, they will prepare traditional dishes or cook the pizza in a wood oven, everything straight home, so you can watch the preparation and Italian style in the kitchen. Domenico, a factotum guy, cleans and controls the pool every day. It is most unlikely you will see him because he comes silently very early in the morning. I myself or someone of my family will welcome you and show you the house.
