Welcome to an historic and stunning 4-story Brooklyn house, gorgeous garden, 2 beautiful cats, beautiful Park Slope! 150 year old house filled with light, color, artwork.
Three excellent SUBWAY LINES (R, F, G) 4 minutes walk. Very quiet & safe in most popular neighborhood.
Upstairs rooms NOT for people with CAT ALLERGIES. (Downstairs apartmen(URL HIDDEN) has no cats.)
At times I only can accept guests for one week or longer.
The main floor is actually my office space and my work projects are there. At times, this is private space.
Help yourself to yummy breakfast foods, juice, coffee, and enjoy the patio and garden.
* Rooms 1 & 2: Two top-floor bedrooms with large, comfortable beds. A clean shared bathroom -- which has never been a problem for guests. (The rest of house uses other bathrooms.)
Please, do NOT request a reservation until you read this, write me about your trip and I reply "YES". This site penalizes hosts if we can't reply fast, or can't accept a reservation.

Good WiFi - sorry, no TV;

Occasional cooking, with permission
Each room - $90-$110 /night. Some flexibility, depending on:
- which month
- the # of nights
- the # rooms you want
- discounts for help: handyman, gardening, sewing
Minimum nights - usually 5 nights, but ask !
Please note this is an historic 150 year old house, and not super modernized, so it has some quirks of old houses.
PARK SLOPE is wonderful, safe, beautiful, hip but quiet neighborhood.

* Steps from NY Marathon route
* Flea Markets & bargain shopping
* YMCA, gyms nearby; Street parking.

ROOM DETAILS: 2 bedrooms top floor , for 2 people each:
1 room = Queen
1 room = 2 twin beds or KING (memory foam King mattress)
Large and clean SHARED bathroom. Has not been a problem for guests!
I speak Spanish,French, understand Portuguese and Italian.
Main floor is my office and work space. You'll have breakfast there in mornings.
Interaction with Guests
I'm very busy but welcoming and helpful ! My main floor is my office and is private later at night. My home is best for casual, flexible, and busy visitors! Make yourself at home and let me know anything you need.
Neighborhood is wonderful, a great walking neighborhood. Free concerts all summer, great restaurants.
3 different subway lines, just 4 minutes walking. Buses on the avenues.
Other Things to Note
Come and go as you wish. Try to be quiet in evenings.
Have 2 friendly cats, Batman & Robin.
Please follow recycle rules: paper is separate; metal plastic glass and cartons go together --- all on my main floor. Turn off fans, air conditioner, lights - but do not unplug.
Please be friendly to neighbors, and quiet outside the house.
Help yourself to breakfast foods/drinks.
Please clear your hair out of shower drain & keep drain cover on --- pipes get clogged. Please use as little water as possible.
