Beautiful area

This home is in a scenic location.
Just a short walk from the famed coastline and magical tree tunnels, this modern cottage offers an unforgettable escape. Designed to blur the line between indoor and outdoor living, it invites you to completely relax.

Unwind in a thoughtfully crafted space that balances comfort with serenity. Whether you’re strolling the Red Road, exploring hidden beaches, or simply soaking up the stillness of the rainforest, this cottage is your sanctuary for true island living.

The space
Tucked away in nature, Artist Cottage is an open concept space featuring a king size bed, living area and private bathroom with a soaker tub, and 2 small lanais.

A leisurely walk leads you to the scenic Red Road shoreline, where you'll likely observe indigenous sea turtles, playful spinner dolphins, and from December to April, you may have the opportunity to witness the annual migration of Humpback whales. Take a scenic coastal drive to explore nearby attractions, such as Fissure 8, Pohoiki Hot Ponds, and Kehena Black Sand Beach.

Guest access
This is a private cottage for your use only, however, the driveway, parking and grounds may be shared with other guests as well as the hosts.

Other things to note
This space includes a kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and hot water kettle.

Within minutes of the property, there are 2 small markets with snacks and beverages, an Awa bar, and a Saturday farmer’s market.
It is important to note that these cottages are a 25 minute drive from the town of Pahoa where restaurants, groceries and services are available however.
The property is also close to local yoga classes, dance, and kirtan.
It is very dark after sunset, as there are no street lights. This makes it incredible for stargazing, but we suggest you bring a flashlight or headlamp if you are going to walk around outside at night.

Cell phone service is limited in the lower Puna area. Nevertheless, residents on the premises generally enjoy reliable WiFi access for WiFi calling and internet use.
