I have a 2 bdrm duplex. My room is upstairs. I am almost never home. My boyfriend, Ricardo lives here part time too. He works full time and is almost always gone as well. So, more often than not, you would have the place to yourself.
The rental room is downstairs right next to the shared bath. There is a kitchen with all amenities, living room with big screen tv, lots of movies, books, and games, wifi, washing machine and dryer (which you are welcome to use), and a cute little backyard with garden.
I am located blocks from Peninsula Park, a 5 minute walk to Dekum street and a 10 minute walk to Alberta Arts District and Mississippi district, 5 miles to the airport, a 10 min. drive to downtown and the Hawthorne/Belmont area, and a 15 minute drive to St. Johns. TriMet stops are just blocks away. I have 2 bikes to borrow, if you're interested; a cute, old Peugeot and a mountain bike.
I provide you with a clean set of sheets and towels. Treat yourself to coffee, a variety of tea choices, and fruit :)
I had a wonderful stay at Crystals..Her and her boyfriend Ricardo were super kind and inviting.. I felt as though they were my new friends! Their home and themselves I feel are very quintessential Portland in all the best ways:) It was a lovely walk to an amazing park and my boyfriend and I also walked to a great restaurant that was close by and the food and beer did not disappoint. I am excited to be staying again & completely recommend Crystal's place as a smart choice when you come to Portland!
Crystal was a phenomenal host! She is warm, flexible with excellent communication. She made me feel right at home as well as Ricardo. They both made this experience the best portland experience someone could want. The house is close to everything that you would want...downtown, the airport and many local bars and coffee shops, everything is with in walking or biking distance. the neighborhood has a lot of character and the house is super cozy. Thank you Crystal!
It felt like a home away from home at Crystals house. She was not there during my stay but kept in communication with me easily for questions. The bed was super comfortable and my stay was peaceful. I liked that I could catch the max train to downtown from her home since I did not have a car. The neighborhood is also very quiet and I felt safe. I would recommend staying with Crystal if you are visiting Portland.
The place was sweet, homey, and a pleasant place to rest on my first trip to Portland. Although I didn't get to meet Crystal, I got to speak to her on the phone and she was so nice and helpful! Definitely would stop by again.
Wonderful place to stay. Crystal was great. Didn't spend much time around the house but she was really welcoming.
I loved my stay in Crystal's house!
Crystal and Ricardo are always super kind and helpful and friendly.
they made my stay so special.
I recommend her place to everyone!
Five words: accommodating, comfortable, hospitable, helpful and gracious.
Crystal made my time in Portland incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. Although I could only be there for a few short days, I wish I could've stayed longer! She did so much to make me feel welcome that it really was like a home away from home. She's also knowledgeable about the area and gave me quite a few good ideas for food and activities while I was there. (Next time though, I'm definitely gonna try biking around Portland!)
Crystal was a fantastic host! She was very thoughtful, accommodating, and helpful to a first-time AirBnB-er. Her home was clean and cozy and in a great location - I highly recommend her to anyone visiting Portland!
I spent a long weekend at Crystal's duplex and it was fantastic. Crystal was very welcoming, generous, friendly, and knowledgeable about the local area. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a great, quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended!
