About this listing
Just 3 blocks to the Plaza and 2 blocks to the premier art street, Canyon Road, this property is nestled behind a quiet neighborhood street. Located in a charming historic carriage house, but clean, uncluttered and modern inside. Now with AC.
This is one of two carriage house apartments next door to my home (see one-bedroom listing), in the heart of the Santa Fe historic district. Both apartments are newly rennovated inside by one of Santa Fe's leading architects, but retain the charm of an historic building on the outside.
Turn off a quiet neighborhood street into a long drive to off-street parking in front of the apartment, nestled among lovely mature trees. This unit is two story, with a bedroom and bath on the ground floor and living area, kitchen, dining area, master bedroom and bath on second level, looking out to the trees through several light-filled windows. Sliding doors lead from the ground level bedroom to a private patio.
Enjoy the charm of living in a real Santa Fe neighborhood but with the convenience of a few short blocks to the Plaza or Canyon Road art district. Within minutes you can walk to a dozen great restaurants, hundreds of world-class galleries, several state and private museums and local coffee shops, bakeries and bookstores.
My unit is in the old part of downtown Santa Fe and so neighbors are very close. Guests are expected to be courteous and quiet late in the evening.
Pets are allowed after a discussion with the owner about size, age, training, etc.
No smoking is permitted inside the unit and is discouraged on the property as a whole.
Off-street parking is allowed but please note that the driveway is narrow and the space for cars is small. If you plan to arrive in a large SUV, please let me know so I can help you determine if there will be room for you to park during your stay.
Pets are allowed on inquiry and approval.

I live next door to the two apartments I rent out and really enjoy meeting guests and helping them navigate our small town to get the most out of their visit. There is so much to do in Santa Fe, for a town of only 70,000 people: great hiking trails, just a few minutes from my property; terrific four start restaurants, as well as down home regular places that we locals all love; great arts and art, of course; and a community of really interesting and friendly people from all walks of life.
