This is one of two carriage house apartments next door to my home (see one-bedroom listing), in the heart of the Santa Fe historic district. Both apartments are newly rennovated inside by one of Santa Fe's leading architects, but retain the charm of an historic building on the outside.
Turn off a quiet neighborhood street into a long drive to off-street parking in front of the apartment, nestled among lovely mature trees. This unit is two story, with a bedroom and bath on the ground floor and living area, kitchen, dining area, master bedroom and bath on second level, looking out to the trees through several light-filled windows. Sliding doors lead from the ground level bedroom to a private patio.
Enjoy the charm of living in a real Santa Fe neighborhood but with the convenience of a few short blocks to the Plaza or Canyon Road art district. Within minutes you can walk to a dozen great restaurants, hundreds of world-class galleries, several state and private museums and local coffee shops, bakeries and bookstores.
We went to Santa Fe for a "touch" of Christmas hoping for a contrast to our central California weather...what we got was perfect. There was just enough snow to have a "sense" of it. The Christmas festivities in the plaza, Canyon Road, and the restaurants...we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Craig's apartment location let us walk EVERYWHERE and was exactly as presented...but the plus, the floor in the downstairs bedroom is heated...happy feet!
A great 2 br / 2 ba! Close to everything, clean, and well furnished with a modern style and new appliances. Although the rooms were a bit small, all other aspects of the stay made up for size. Loved Santa Fe, and all the shops and Canyon road galleries. Highly recommend this condo, and Craig was a great host!
The space is absolutely lovely, SO clean, and we had a wonderful time during our stay. It is very well located, parking is easy, you can walk to everything, and Craig was very helpful. Very Highly recommended!!
Craig was a great host and his property was an incredible place to stay in Santa Fe. It was well designed and decorated, clean, and only a short walk to the square. We would stay there again in summer or winter and encourage all to book this property next time you are headed to Santa Fe.
We had a wonderful stay at Craig's place in Santa Fe. The location is perfect at a few blocks from the plaza and in a pulled back courtyard next to a quiet street. The interior finishes of this house are top notch and as high end as a 5* hotel. You can tell that this has been done with a lot of passion. Craig was out of town, but was very responsive to my questions and concerns.
We would definitely stay at Craig's again.
