Just 3 blocks to the Plaza and 2 blocks to the premier art street, Canyon Road, this property is nestled behind a quiet neighborhood street. Located in a charming historic carriage house, but clean, uncluttered and modern inside.
This is one of two carriage house apartments next door to my home (see one-bedroom listing), in the heart of the Santa Fe historic district. Both apartments are newly rennovated inside by one of Santa Fe's leading architects, but retain the charm of an historic building on the outside.
Turn off a quiet neighborhood street into a long drive to off-street parking in front of the apartment, nestled among lovely mature trees. This unit is two story, with a bedroom and bath on the ground floor and living area, kitchen, dining area, master bedroom and bath on second level, looking out to the trees through several light-filled windows. Sliding doors lead from the ground level bedroom to a private patio.
Enjoy the charm of living in a real Santa Fe neighborhood but with the convenience of a few short blocks to the Plaza or Canyon Road art district. Within minutes you can walk to a dozen great restaurants, hundreds of world-class galleries, several state and private museums and local coffee shops, bakeries and bookstores.

The apartment was perfect and spotless-just as pictured. Neighborhood was ideal--very short walk to the Plaza, but in a quiet residential neighborhood. Craig was the perfect host-always responsive.
Very good location. Nice quiet neighborhood. Easy parking. The apartment is in good condition and is nicely decorated. In all, it worked well for our group, which was one couple and one single person. I would stay here again, no question.
We had a great time at Craigs' place and his kind phone call on the day of our arrival made us feel very welcome. Regarding the flat and location, both were fantastic!
The flat is very comfortable and clean, very well-thought and designed. It location is perfect: a charming remodeled house in an alley on a calm street at five minutes (literally FIVE minutes!) walking of the center of the old Santa.
I highly recommend this place.
Craig was here to greet us. The apartment was immaculate. The location is extremely convenient to shopping and restaurants.
Craig was great. He was available when needed. The neighborhood was delightful & close to the plaza within easy walking distance. The place was sparkling clean and as described; it had everything we needed for an enjoyable experience. Bedrooms small, especially upstairs but comfortable & well appointed. Walls thin so that we could hear each other between bedrooms and could hear neighbors if they were loud but overall this did not detract from our stay. There were two delightful outdoor seating areas.
Craig was a great host. The 2 bedroom 2 bath home was perfect for another couple, my girlfriend, and I for Labor day weekend. The place was clean and modern and I really liked the off street parking. It is about four blocks to downtown which was very convenient. A minor issue for our other couple was there was paint smell from some touch up done four days earlier but it seemed to not be an issue as the weekend continued. The Internet access was quick and easy. I would highly recommend Craig's place and wouldn't hesitate to stay there in the future.
Wonderful experience. Apartment was better than described in listing. Very secluded, quiet, clean, and comfortable. Ideal location for walking throughout Santa Fe including Plaza, Railyard District, Canyon Road, etc.
Craig was very gracious and accommodating. I highly recommend this for anyone seeking serenity in a light-filled space.

I live next door to the two apartments I rent out and really enjoy meeting guests and helping them navigate our small town to get the most out of their visit. There is so much to do in Santa Fe, for a town of only 70,000 people: great hiking trails, just a few minutes from my property; terrific four start restaurants, as well as down home regular places that we locals all love; great arts and art, of course; and a community of really interesting and friendly people from all walks of life.
