This was my second stay with Andrea and Zach and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. I was in town with a friend, celebrating her birthday. Andrea gave me flexible check in and out times. Clean space, peaceful area in a nice location with plenty of conveniences.
What a great location for our stay! Andrea has fixed up this little suite in her home that is attractive, private & quiet. Our stay was a long one (6 nights) and we found this to be the perfect retreat. We appreciated the private entrance so that we would not disturb our hosts.
Andrea has kindly supplied a snack/coffee station and fridge stocked with bottled water. Plenty of room to spread out, hang all your clothes, etc., and a very comfortable queen sized bed.
We will definitely consider a return visit.
We had a wonderful time at Andrea and Zach's house. Everything was neat and clean and very nice. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was spotless. The couch made a nice place to sit in the morning while enjoying a coffee from the well stocked Keurig. Andrea was very nice and her little boy was too sweet. It was located in a quiet neighborhood as described and was SO close to the campus and was right around the corner from our fave brewery! (Otto's). We will definitely be back again!
We stayed in this property for 3 nights and were most contented and comfortable. The rental is very clean, well-equipped, and in a very quite neighborhood, quite close to campus and town and many restaurants and other shopping. We are very lucky to have found this home and would definitely recommend it with the highest regard. Zach and Andrea are most welcoming hosts.
I enjoyed staying at Andrea’s home. The room is on the ground level in the back of a house. As an urban dweller, I don’t find as many homes with such beautiful trees and landscaping. The home is nestled back among large shade trees, lush lawn, and flowered bushes. There’s quite a bit of nature going in the backyard. To access the room, you enter through a sliding door. There’s a motion activated light and instructions for its use. The light makes for a safe entrance at night, but it does not affect your ability to sleep. The room was clean and had a small TV, a dresser, and a closet for my use. The room is attached to another seating area where additional items could be left. There are plenty of snack items and a Keurig in that room. The bathroom is inviting and has a shower. There’s street parking downhill in front of the house, but I did notice that at least one bus serviced this street. The home is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood.
The listing itself is conveniently located. It’s about 10-15 minutes from the downtown area. It’s about 5 minutes to Target, Trader Joes, Starbucks, and Kohl’s.
Andrea and Zach were welcoming. While I didn’t meet Andrea in person, I did meet Zach. Zach showed me in and shared great tips for parking in the downtown area where I went for a dinner with friends. Andrea was very communicative, responsive, and helpful. I recommend Andrea and her home.
Great experience! Room very clean and put together, having a private entrance was also convenient as I was coming and going often.
We had a wonderful stay in Andrea's warm and cozy home! Their walkable neighborhood is quiet but very close to grocery stores, restaurants and bars, and just a short drive from campus. Parking on the street in front of the house was a cinch.
We arrived on a late-night flight from the West Coast, and Andrea was very accommodating and sent clear instructions for how to get ourselves settled in. The Keurig coffee maker, snacks, and chilled bottled water were very much appreciated. The unit has a private entrance that looks out on their lovely yard. Cozy bed, impeccable bathroom, and plenty of closet space to unpack...This is definitely a great place to stay if you come through State College!
