Welcome to Chateau LeVeaux & this amazing 2 story condo where you can enjoy spectacular sunrises over Lake Superior! The North Shore provides endless opportunities for creative inspiration so bring your camera & art supplies. Spend the day hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, playing golf, or relaxing to some of the finest music at one of the many nearby restaurants, & then come back to Chateau to enjoy the pool, sauna, hot tub, firepits, or game room. As of 12/30 our electric fireplace is not working.

The space
Sleeping areas are upstairs and include a queen bed in the bedroom and 2 twin beds in the loft. The bedroom has an adjacent walk-in shower and bathroom. The condo is fully furnished with cookware and utensils, so enjoy cooking up a storm. This unit is spacious with a beautiful large balcony overlooking the lake. On the Chateau property, you can swim in the pool; soak in the spa; play pool, ping pong, or foosball, in the rec room; read on the lakeside observation deck; or build a fire in one of the fire pits (bring your own wood) and toast up some s'mores. From spring through fall there is also staircase access to the magnificent rocky shoreline down at the lake. Rest and repeat!

Other things to note
In northern Minnesota we can get all sorts of bugs (mostly flies and mosquitoes). Larger animals such as deer, bear, and bobcat have over the years been seen on our property. In general, they are not that interested in humans but should you encounter one, do not feed or engage.

We have semi-steep driveways which can get snowy and icy in the winter.

There are stairs in the unit and stairs throughout the building.

The average temperature in Tofte ranges from -30 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Plan accordingly :-)
