Prior booking is essential.

All of our bright and airy rooms are en-suite with tea and coffee making facilities. Each room has a tv/dvd player, with an extensive dvd collection for your viewing pleasure in our lounge, we also have an eclectic range of reading material available.

About the village:

Annascaul is a walker's paradise.

Hill and dale, sea, river, lake make an ever-changing pattern, with the wild flowers of Kerry blooming everywhere.

Situated as it is on the southwest tip of Ireland, the Gulf Stream plays a more warming part than it does for the rest of the country. For the holiday maker, this gives a longer season of enjoyment. The first flowers of Spring appear shortly after Christmas and the gorse is still in bloom at the end of October.

Annascaul is the birthplace of famous Antarctic explorer Tom Crean.

Internationally renowned sculptor Jerome Connor was also born in Annascaul. One of his most impressive pieces is the Lusitania monument in Cobh, Co. Cork.

  • Brian and Beata are so very kind and welcoming. Our bag had been lost by the airlines, but Brian made it clear we were welcome to go see the region and he'd get our bag to the room when it arrived. We returned late after a gorgeous day exploring the Dingle Peninsula to find out bag waiting by our room. Our room was just as depicted and tidy. Breakfast was great, with a huge selection including full breakfast, lovingly prepared by Brian and Beata themselves. A comfy room and good food are what we expected, but the kindness and care of these hosts topped it all off for me. We'll be staying here again on our next trip to Ireland!

  • The 6 of us has a wonderful stay with Brian and Beata at the Old Anchor Inn. Brian knew that we were looking forward to hearing some music and made sure that we found some in Annascaul. It was great! The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were lovely. I loved the feel of the quiet town. I would definitely stay here again Felt like home. Thank you Brian and Beata.

  • Brian and Beata were simply great. Nice, clean room, delicious Pizza and a big DVD collection as well. Breakfast was very good, too. The B&B is located in Annascaul, which is located 20 minutes by car from Dingle.
One advice: there is no ATM in Annascaul, so if you need cash, you should get it in Dingle.

  • Bea was a fantastic host for the night we stayed in Annascaul. It's a sleepy village, but perfect for some down time whilst travelling. Bea was really helpful and provided lots of local information that added to our travels. Would definitely recommend this B&B to others!!

  • Really nice owners! Gave some good advice on local hiking, and also made a delicious breakfast. Really enjoyed the surrounding area, and only wish we had had more time to explore.

  • Brian and Beata were great hosts. The check in was easy the room was perfect and the food was fabulous. My only two regrets were we didn't stay long enough and I was not able to try Brian's pizza. The location is ideal for exploring Dingle. I would definitely recommend their B and B and I would love to come back for a visit

  • My family and I had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Old Anchor Inn. Brian and Beata were cheerful and welcoming and their Inn is comfortable, clean and cozy. We loved their breakfast pancakes and couldn't get enough of Brian's pizza in the evenings. It was the perfect home for exploring the Dingle Peninsula.

  • Brian and Beata's home is lovely! We enjoyed our accommodations and the great food that they served. It was a special plus that they served pizza for dinner on Good Friday when other options were unavailable. They gave great recommendations for walks and sights to see and provided a relaxing atmosphere with a great movie collection for quiet nights! We would highly recommend this B&B while staying in the Dingle Peninsula.

About
Hello we are Brian & Beata and we run the Old Anchor B&B in Annascaul village on the Dingle Peninsula. We're coming into our 5th year of running our own business and love what we do. Annascaul is a sleepy little village with no less than 5 pubs including the South Pole Inn owned by Antarctic Explored Tom Crean. Annascaul is the perfect place to base yourself while visiting the Dingle peninsula or just to come and get away from it all and do nothing. Our kitchen is open to our guests in the winter, as most of the restaurants close for the season. Our dining area can also be used. We can off great rates for longer stays and large groups. Just ask about in your message. We look forward to welcoming you to the Old Anchor Inn,in Annascaul!! Brian & Beata
