Located in the Goose Hollow Neighborhood, we are within an easy walking distance of the Goose Hollow Inn, coffee shops, cafes, Providence Park (home of the Portland Timbers and Thorns soccer teams), and NW 21st & 23rd AVE's.
Washington Park is a nice hike up the hill, where you'll find the International Rose Test Garden and the Japanese Garden. There is a shuttle service that will take you to the zoo.
Both the red and blue line MAX train stops are one block to the south. It's an easy ride in from the airport or a quick trip downtown or to the Oregon Zoo. If you buy a MAX ticket it is also valid on the bus and streetcar lines.
Please see the House Rules section for details regarding street parking and parking permits.
Built in 1913, the property is listed on the national historic registry as the Clovis House. The home and studio underwent a complete renovation in 2012-13 and was saved as part of a development deal in order to build new townhomes on the empty lot next door.
Please note: There are several construction projects going on in our neighborhood, including one next door. Generally, work takes place from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and should be finished by the fall.

This was amazing! The space was perfect, clean, beautiful and very functional. The location was on-point with close access to the Max light rail and bus stops. Goose Hollow is a great little town, I truly enjoyed my stay here. Portland is home to many amazing people, and Dave is surely one of them!
This is a great place to stay! The location is perfect & the studio is super clean with great natural light. Dave was so gracious when we had to check in later than expected. We will definitely be back.
Absolutely fantastic apartment in a beautiful and convenient location. Wish we had been able to stay longer!
Fantastic location! Walking distance to the city's heart center, quiet, cozy! Wonderful!
Dave´s flat is very convenient and has one of the most comfy beds I have ever slept in. Looks exactly like in the pictures and Portland is an amazing place to visit. Will definitely come back here!
Our first Airbnb experience - wonderful!
Our top criteria are a good location, and a good bed - the studio has all three. Plus it's a spotless, airy. light-filled space and Dave checks in to be sure all is well. We'll return.
Goose Hollow is in a great location on the Trimet red line which goes straight to downtown and the airport. Dave has done a fantastic job renovating the historic house and the self contained apartment we stayed in was really nice. Would definitely stay here again when back visiting portland.
Friendly hosts and super clean, spacious studio. The studio is down a flight and half of stairs in the back of the house and the views are of a car dealership from the porch and a construction area on the side The studio gets good daylight, maybe too much street light at night, but sleeping masks are provided. Parking permits are required for $5 per day. We couldn't get Wifi to work but that seems to be a known issue. If you need a clean place to stay near highways and public transport, this is a good option.
This roomy and very clean studio is in a wonderful location for enjoying Portland. It has great access to public transportation and it is a 10-15 minute walk to downtown. We stayed 3 nights; our car was parked the first day and we didn't move it again until we left. Dave was very helpful in making the parking easy.
He also provided lots of information about restaurants and things to do. The WIFI connection was helpful too. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen convenient for making breakfast, and the shower and bathtub were wonderful. We will return.
The studio is spacious, extraordinarily clean, and well located in relation to public transit and downtown. The kitchen is well stocked for light cooking and there's also a nice outdoor area to enjoy morning coffee or an evening drink.
Dave was a great host. Easy to communicate with and provided an binder full of local information. I would not hesitate staying here again.
