About This Listing
Nice bedroom with double bed in a flat in the city center of Paris, 3 minutes walking from the historical Le Marais area. All-equipped kitchen, bathroom, living room. Three other French people lives in the flat! We call our flat "La Maison du bonheur", which would be "House of Happiness" in English, which means that the atmosphere is very nice and friendly. We usually not only host the guests, but we like to go out to bars and show them the area and the nice places where to go to. We all speak English!
I expect the hosts to respect my (website hidden), which means being quiet at night and clean your stuff when you use the kitchen. Apart from that you're more than welcome and my (website hidden) are very nice !
I am quite flexible about arriving and departure times, so no worries about that, we just have to plan!
I had a wonderful time at this cozy apartment! The area is perfect and it's very close to different metro stops. There's many places to eat nearby and there is easy access to all the touristy and not so touristy things to do in Paris.
The wifi works, the view is cute, just be warned if you go during the week they are having construction outside. It's not so bad though, I had no problems sleeping.
great hosts, great place!
Suzanne was a very kind, helpful and honest host. the room and apartment was clean and as depicted in the photos. It was good value for the money, and the location is quite good. Would certainly stay again!
I made unforgettable memories in Suzanne's place. :)) It was my first time to visit Paris, so I was quite scared when i arrived in Paris. Especially thanks to Suzanne, I enjoyed a lot Paris and felt comfortable.
The area is quiet and safe as well, so I could relax after my hard day's sight-seeing, even i came back every single day at night.
The room was quite big and cozy, so it was perfect to make me relax in the comfy bed.
The flat was well-located, so i did everyday window shopping on the way to get to St. Paul station(There are so many shops. Actually It's my favorite area).
I really would like to recommend someone who want to enjoy the center of Paris.
Thanks again Suzanne. :)))
I had a lovely time staying at Suzanne's place in Paris. Suzanne was super communicative and accommodating before and throughout my visit. She made me feel welcome and even helped me lug my heavy suitcase up the stairs! She provided me with some guide books and recommended a great neighborhood restaurant. Suzanne's flatmates are also lovely people. They were all welcoming and friendly. Also, my French is very limited and I only speak English and Spanish, and they were all kind and understanding about it and happy to speak to me in English.
The room itself is cozy, cute, clean, and quiet. Nice little view of St. Ambroise and some rooftops from the window. Comfy bed, too! The flat is in a well-located area, lots of restaurants around and not too far from the touristy sites. You have to take the metro to get to some places on the other side of the city, like the Tour Eiffel and the museums, but you can walk to lots of things, too.
I would recommend this spot for a solo traveler who would like to be around some young people but also have her own space to chill at the end of a day of sightseeing. I felt safe and comfy here.
Thanks Suzanne and flatmates for the lovely stay! :)
Suzanne is really kind and helpful. We didn't actually meet because she was traveling when I visited. But she gave me detailed instructions and even hand-wrote a letter to me! Her apartments and flatmates are lovely and friendly. They suggested me where to go and to eat. Her place is quite central and so accessible that I couldn't ask for more! The place is ideal for a solo traveler. Thank you Suzanne!
