& separate WC.

Wimbledon Tube station (district line) and Wimbledon Village are 10 minute bus rides away.
The N87 night bus is outside the door, which runs into the city of London.

Along the high street of Raynes Park are Starbucks, Costa, Waitrose, Co-Op and Sainsburys with independent bakeries and restaurants. There is also a Llyods Bank and Barclays Bank. Local service taxi is also available across the street.
Kew Gardens, the Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court Palace, Wimbledon Tennis, Kingston Shopping are all within close proximity and we have a new medical center with pharmacy opened next door.
We are a young married couple and you will be sharing the flat with us. :)

Awful, awful, awful!
I am a 52 year old Canadian woman who travels a lot. I believe this was the most frustrated experience of my life. The place was advertised as quiet, but instead it was a very loud construction outside the window. No air-condition available. The entrance to the house is from the alley, with very steep and narrow stairs, so it is almost impossible to carry the luggage. The washroom is so small, I could barely close the door, and I am 5,8 feet. The sink in the bathroom offered only cold water. When I mentioned that the place was not described in an honest way, the hosts told me at 11:30 pm that they prefer if I leave next morning. Without even asking me if I have a place to stay, they terminated my stay with them, and asked me to leave at 11am next day. My so awaited vacation had ended on this day.
The hosts don't simply have a heart. It was so sad. I believe people these days want to make easy $ without any effort. I also wonder who wrote the previous reviews for them?
We apologise for Lila's unhappiness with the unexpected construction noise as this change took place extremely recently. We were unable to inform Lila of this fresh change of scenery in time and have since removed "quiet" from the description.
Regarding the air conditioning, we did not list the room as being air-conditioned. It is stated clearly in our amenities.
All the taps in our house are mixer taps and they offer both hot and cold water. It takes just a few seconds for the water to run warm.
There are photos which clearly represented the size of the bathroom and washroom. We do apologise for the space constraint Lila has encountered.
Following the mirror debacle and subsequent inability to reach a friendly compromise - despite hearing our reasons for why we would prefer she not enter our room any time she pleased Lila still insisted that as a guest our room mirror was part of her entitled amenities - Lila offered to leave. It was the first time this had happened.
She left with much unhappiness and as hosts who often go the extra mile to make our guests happy, we are sad that we couldn't meet her expectations.
One last note, the previous reviews were left by genuine guests whom we have hosted and it is not very nice to insinuate that they aren't of existence or otherwise. They are real people with whom we had real bonds and this is the spirit of airbnb.
We read the review written by Lila's last host and again would like to encourage Lila to read each host's listings more carefully and make the right requests before picking a place.
We encourage also future hosts to read her reviews on previous hosts and Lila's host reviews prior to accepting reservation to avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.
We look at the positive experiences and wish Lila all the very best with no hard feelings.
I strongly recommend Mel's room. She is a newly married wife and her house is very clean and pretty. The location was also very excellent, 1 minute from rail station and bus stops. She also kindly prepared juices and cereals for us which we didnt expect.
It was a fun than staying a hotel room.
Mel and Frank are super friendly and wonderful hosts. The room is spacious and very comfortable and the entire flat is very clean and conveniently situated close to the station and shops. I would most certainly recommend this accommodation for your stay.
