Discover a comfortable, fully equipped cottage with old time charm in the heart of the hamlet of Saint-Félix. If you are looking for calm and the real experience of the Quercy countryside with its beautiful landscapes, it is an ideal location to escape from the bustle of city life. The nearest shops are about 10 km away. However, artistic, historic, and pre-historic sites, as well as fine regional cooking are easily accessible.

The space
The cottage is on two levels each with direct access to the outside. The upper floor consists of a living/dining area, a kitchen corner, and a separate bedroom with two single beds. The sofa in the living area converts into a double bed. The lower floor has an open bedroom with a double bed and a separate bath with toilet, bidet, bath, shower and sink.
In addition, you will find a washing machine, iron, ironing board and hair dryers. A folding baby crib (without linen) is available free of charge for families with infants. You may also use an indoor and outdoor clothes line located on the property.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker/oven, counter height fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle and expresso coffee machine. Table ware is provided. A Weber BBQ grill (but not the charcoal) and a garden table and 4 chairs are provided for the guests
The double glazed windows, thick stone walls, wood shutters, central hot water heating and a Norwegian wood stove on the lower level ensure that the cottage remains cool on the hottest of summer days and cozy in the winter. Unfortunately, the fire place on the upper level does not work. Removable mosquito nets are available for the windows in the bedrooms for those that like to sleep with the windows open in the warm periods.
Guest access
Guests have full use of the cottage and a private garden.
The swimming pool is not included in our offer. It is reserved for the use of the owners and their guests.
Other things to note
Shopping: There are two small supermarkets about 15 minutes from the cottage and three weekly open-air markets (Saturday (2) and Sunday (1) are allowed around the same distance.
Towels: Airbnb now requires hosts to provide "essential" amenities. While we have provided our guests with bed linen, pillows, toilet paper, and soap in the past, our practice has been not to provide towels for reasons of ecology and hygiene. In order to comply with Airbnb's requirements, and yet remain faithful to our original policy, we now offer the following options:
1) Guests may continue to provide their own towels. In this case, there will be no extra charge.
2) Guests requiring towels should advise their need when making an enquiry or reservation. Towels will be provided for the duration of the reservation at an extra charge of 5 € per towel. We provide quality bath sheets of Pima cotton measuring 70 x 140 cm.
The additional charge for the towels will be communicated on our Airbnb site in the form of a Special Offer or a modification to the reservation under the heading of Cleaning Fee (that we do not otherwise charge). The Special Offer or modification must be accepted by the guest to reserve the towels.
Towels will not be charged in the following circumstances:
1)Guests arriving from intercontinental, i.e. non-European, origins. It is unreasonable to expect these guests to include towels in their luggage allowance;
2)Guests booking stays of seven (7) consecutive nights or more;
Tourist Tax: The local authorities require that our guests acquit a tourist tax. Airbnb will collect this tax when you confirm your reservation as part of the booking process. If this is not the case, we would be grateful if you could foresee the correct amount in cash on your arrival. You may use the calculator on https://quercyblanc (dot) taxesejour (dot) fr to figure the amount (scroll down). Our cottage is 2**.
Travel Cot: While the crib is free of charge, children that occupy their own bed must be calculated in the rental fee. NB: Our current practice of not providing bed linen for the infant travel cot will continue.
The new towel policy will apply only to reservations made after 4 March 2018.
