There is a Max train, at the airport, that runs every 15 min until 11pm. It will get you into town to connect with a bus to the neighborhood.

Other Things to Note
Join us in the Kitchen/great room if you like. We'll have some coffee or tea for you if you ask.
Portland's 'close in' locations, mean Train horns! Some people love them, some people need earplugs (bring them) on Summer nights when they open the windows. :-)
We are quiet after 11pm. You may come and go as you like as long as you are quietly, respectful after hours.
Please no red wine in the rooms, I have light carpets and somehow, someone always spills a glass!
If you use bleaching products as part of your cosmetics, please let me know so I can give you white towels. :)
Check with me about parking--my neighbor on the west prefers we don't park in front of his house.
Lucinda and her place were wonderful! She was super quick to respond to any questions I had, was completely accommodating of my arrival timing, and extremely welcoming once we got there. The place was exactly as advertised, had a beautiful garden, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The house is in an awesome location close to tons of great food and bars with transit downtown being super easy (thank you, #4). I would happily stay here again!
Lucinda was very easy to communicate with. She informed us of multiple bus routes from our downtown bus drop off, which made life so easy. The number 10 took us almost right to the doorstep, amazing !
We loved the setup of the house, it was exactly as described, comfy bed, beautiful garden and even a place to store our rental bikes.
We loved the neighbourhood. Lucinda's house is close to everything we wanted, especially the restaurants and breweries in the area. We rode our bikes over the bridge into the city without any worries.
We would definitely stay again, Lucinda had everything we needed, including useful information for activities downtown. We also used the kithen most mornings for breakfast without any hassles. Which sums up our time with Lucinda really, hassle free
Host was very warm and gracious! She was very kind to pick us up at the airport and is very knowledgeable about Portland and where to go The neighbourhood was warm and friendly with unique gardens around as well as filled with tasty eats. The location was ideal for public transit into downtown Portland.
The room was a bit hot but once we made her aware she provided us with a fan and it was fine after that. I would definitely recommend staying here to a friend.
Had a wonderful stay at Lucinda. She was very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and tidy and so was the whole house. Easy to park and getting around in Portland.
Conveniently located, close to bus lines and restaurants/grocery stores in quiet, relaxed area. Lucinda was a very friendly and generous host who immediately let me feel right at home. The house is very clean, well-lit and decorated with beautiful floral arrangements right from the garden!
Staying at Lucinda's made me feel like a Portland local. The room was very clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and close to many cafes and restaurants. Lucinda herself was a great host, and she really looks out for her guests. I look forward to coming back here if I'm ever in town again. I highly recommend this place.
Amazing host — we felt really welcome (she even picked us up from the airport and patiently spent the whole ride explaining the layout of Portland to us). Lovely room and a very cute neighborhood.

About the Host, Lucinda
I'm a friendly, direct person. I like people. I've always lived with roommates, even when married. I have a lovely home and garden, where I can be found most days! I am a Licensed Massage Therapist for 25 years and have a Private Massage Studio on sight! Both of my sons and their wives, have homes close by. I walk my young son's dog, Taz, in the afternoon or we go to a dog park for some socializing. During the summer, I like to ride my bike through the neighborhood. In the evening, I love to take a picnic for Portland Music in the Parks.
