I stayed with Lucinda for a couple of days in April and it was so pleasant. The room and bathroom is super clean as well as the rest of the house. Lucinda is a very friendly host and we shared nice talks over breakfast a couple of times. She kindly let me use any appliances or fridge space I wanted and she gave me useful tips about Portland and beyond. Very safe and quiet neighborhood just walking distance from the busy and exciting shopping streets!
Would stay here again and would recommend it to a friend!
Lucinda was wonderful and really embraces and enjoys the concept of hosting people! Welcoming, flexible, pleasant and very helpful. Would definitely stay again!
Lucinda has a beautiful house and the room was spacious. She's super cheery and welcoming. The bathroom had towels ready for our use, which was a nice touch :)
Lucinda's place is just wonderful. The house has a great location, is very clean, and the room has a very comfortable bed. There is a great market a few blocks away open until late where we bought almost all of our food. Even though one can go walking almost everywhere, we also found that transportation in Portland is top-notch so it was really easy to move around the city. There are two bus stops a few blocks away from the house. As for Lucinda, we have nothing but good words and lots of appreciation. She is amazingly kind and helpful. Also, she is always willing to answer any questions one might have and to lend a helping hand whenever possible. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about her city and shares her house with some distinctively nice and interesting people. We will definitively come back to Portland at some point, and look forward to stay at Lucinda's once again!
The house is comfortable and Lucinda is a lovely host. We had a great time here. We met the other roommates but didn't see much of them. Everyone was quiet and respectful.
Lucinda was a wonderful hostess. I booked two nights for myself and she was very accommodating when my friend needed a place to stay for one night. The place was quiet, the bed very comfortable, and bathroom very clean. I took a bus to Downtown/Pearl District and the bus stop was only a couple of blocks away. She suggested some great places to shop and walk around. Thanks for making my first visit to Portland so amazing!
It was quiet, the bed was comfortable and Lucinda was a gracious hostess. The house was clean and I would stay there again.
I appreciated the ride to and from the airport.
Really enjoyed my stay at Lucinda's place. Comfortable, convenient and quiet. All characteristics I was looking for. Lucinda and the other renters were friendly and a joy to get to know. Lucinda went out of her way to make it possible for me to stay beyond my booking (plans changed and there was another person booked for the room I had) and though I didn't end up taking her up on it, I truly appreciated the effort. You can't go wrong booking here when it comes to location. For a nomadic entrepreneur like myself, this property was within plenty of great coffee shops from which to grind away online. I highly recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat (and I just might).
Lucinda was a wonderful host. I initially booked to stay for two nights with a friend, and Lucinda was very accommodating when I asked to bring an extra friend along. Her home is beautiful and the accommodations she provided were incredibly comfortable. Lucinda's BnB is only a few blocks away from major transit lines so getting downtown was very easy — especially for it being my first time to Portland. If I'm ever back in Portland I will certainly be staying at Lucinda's again.
Staying with Lucinda was wonderful. She informed us about the city, schools, stores, etc. We felt very welcomed in her home and She is Pleasant to converse with. My boyfriend and I are very happy to call her our first friend in Portland.
