Other Things to Note
Join us in the Kitchen/great room if you like. We'll have some coffee or tea for you if you ask.
Portland's 'close in' locations, mean Train horns! Some people love them, some people need earplugs (bring them) on Summer nights when they open the windows. :-)
We are quiet after 11pm. You may come and go as you like as long as you are quietly, respectful after hours.
Please no red wine in the rooms, I have light carpets and somehow, someone always spills a glass!
If you use bleaching products as part of your cosmetics, please let me know so I can give you white towels. :)
Check with me about parking--my neighbor on the west prefers we don't park in front of his house.
From Jun 1 - Aug 31, 2015 the minimum stay is 3 nights.
Staying at Lucinda's house was an absolute delight. When my friend and I asked for suggestions of possible places to explore, Lucinda was extremely helpful. She is just a refreshingly sweet person. Lucinda's place was absolutely beautiful and comfortable; you feel at home. It was exceptionally clean as well. This stay by far exceeded my expectations.
Room was in great location - able to walk to just about everything we wanted. Clean, quiet neighborhood. Lucinda was very welcoming and then everyone comes as goes as they please. Coffee is available for those who want it but also plenty of restaurants near-by.
The place was exactly as describe and picture. Close to transportation, eating places. The house was quiet and clean.
Lucinda is a very warm person and was extremely helpful from information about the town, sharing a conversation; furthermore I fell like I made a friend for life.
Linda made us feel very welcome in our room. The listing was accurate and there were bars and restaurants close to the house. It was an easy going house with 1 additional room with Airbnb guests staying at the same time. She chatted with us in the morning and let us make some coffee while planning our day. There is a kitchen to use which was great to make some eggs and save a little money. The house had a nice laid back vibe.
We had a great stay a Lucinda's place! Her home is in a fantastic location, with excellent access to bus lines. We took some longer day trips outside of the city, but if you want to stay in the city for your entire trip, there really is no need for a rental car. We really enjoyed the ease of coming and going, and had no challenges sharing a bathroom with the other Airbnb guests at the house. We were on the go for most of our trip, so we didn't spend much time chatting with Lucinda, but she was always open to talk or give us space as needed. Thanks for a terrific stay Lucinda!

About the Host, Lucinda
I'm a friendly, direct person. I like people. I've always lived with roommates, even when married. I have a lovely home and garden, where I can be found most days! I am a Licensed Massage Therapist for 25 years and have a Private Massage Studio on sight! Both of my sons and their wives, have homes close by. I walk my young son's dog, Taz, in the afternoon or we go to a dog park for some socializing. During the summer, I like to ride my bike through the neighborhood. In the evening, I love to take a picnic for Portland Music in the Parks.
