My wee family and I had a lovely time staying at Lino's flat. He was delightful and the flat was super homey. It is in a great central location for exploring Gozo on foot as you can walk to many villages and beaches from there and walk back or bus back for a nice day trip. There is also an amazingly well stocked grocer across the street - better selection there than in Malta! At night you get an amazing view of the lit up cathedral out the kitchen window/terrace :)
We had a wonderful time at Lino's apartment in Nadur. Lino himself took us around town at the first night and pointed out the best places in Nadur for us …! He was very helpful and charming – simply the perfect host.
The penthouse is good to find and have everything you might need during you stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms large, everything was clean and tidy! The balconies provides wonderful views on the whole island and thats probably on of the the best points about the whole flat.
Everything is nearby and good to find. Nadur is a quite good location the get around Gozo and is countryside as well at the beautiful beaches nearby. In addition it is quite close to the ferry and situated on a hill. There is a grocery right in the same street and some restaurants and shops are a couple of minutes away from the apartment. Even a free parking lot is in front of the house, which is good for those who are planing to use a rental car – like we did.
We would definitely recommend the apartment for anyone else who are looking for a nice and chilly starting point to get in touch with Gozo!
Thanks again Lino and kind regards!
The penthouse is well appointed, quite charming, and the kitchen was equipped with all essentials - exactly, as it has been announced in the portal. It's worth noting that as the top-floor, the terrace provides a great view on the island. Another benefit was the availability of an elevator.
The location was excellent - a quiet street close to grocery stores and the bus lines.
Lino has been a great host, checking in with me and set me up with some supplies in the fridge on my arrival.
I would recommend this apartment without any hesitation.
I had a great time at Lino's apartment in Nadur. The flat was quiet, clean and spacious, had amazing views of the whole island from the terrace (great to see the fireworks!), and was really well placed in the centre of Nadur (about 2-3 min walk from the square). I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a base from which to see Gozo, as it is near bus stops that are short bus rides from great beaches like Ramla Bay and San Blas, as well as Victoria. Thanks for a amazing stay Lino!
We had a very good experience with the Penthouse Apartment!
The apartment has all you might need, and is located in a very quiet, small, and characteristic town, Nadur, that is close to most of the main attractions on the island of Gozo, and the most beatiful beaches. Lino, our host, has always been available for anything we needed.

We had a fantastic time in Gozo, enjoying all of the wonderful beaches and some excellent food. We might even have enjoyed Gozo more than Malta, which is saying a lot. Lino's flat in Nadur was a great home base. The flat itself is meticulously done, and much swankier than it appears in the photos. Comfy beds, lots of windows for light and breezes, and great views of the entire town and beyond from the nearly 360-degree balconies.
Lino is a great host. He guided us up from the ferry and made sure we knew where to go and what to do.
Nadur is a wonderful town. Centrally located, easy to get to all points on the island (even without a map). There are a number of grocery stores--one just a few doors down from the flat--and some nice little restaurants and wine bars on the main square by the beautiful church. Free public wifi in the town square and restaurants, too.
If you're looking for the perfect place to stay on Gozo--and you really should--talk to Lino.
Lino was a helpful and welcoming host and helped make our stay really enjoyable. The penthouse is a wonderful place to stay, comfortable, clean and fully equipped to self cater. Nadur is a peaceful, non touristy village at the top of a hill with superb views in every direction. The flat is at roof top level (with lift) so you can see the countryside around. It has an old windmill next door and plenty of room to sit out in sun or shade as you wish and shelter from spring breezes. The Highlander shop 2 minutes away is well stocked, including fresh local bread daily and excellant local wines. We stayed here as a base for walking. The area is beautiful in spring with flowers and small wildlife everywhere. There are spectacular views from hill tops and cliffs and magnificent coastal features. The walking is generally easy with some waymarking (map needed) and regular buses from most parts of Gozo. We ate at Ta' Kajli restaurent on Sunday when the shops were shut and had a very good, very reasonably priced meal.(only open weekends). We didn't try the other restaurents.
If you are searching for a fine base, comfortable and spacious enough for a family, for you marvellous adventures at Gozo - think of Penthouse Apartment. Lino and Rose do everything to make your stay perfect - whatever you are thinking of, they are already here with help or a piece of a good advice, really nice and warmhearted hosts!
The Apartment is situated in the centre of a small town of Nadur (nothing particular to see except of the original pace of local life, but very quiet if you do not fancy overcrowded touristic places) - no sea by the side, but still you can reach all the essentials in the shortest time by bus (the timetable is strict and well-designed) or by car: famous Ramla beach - 7 minutes, Mgarr - 10 minutes, Victoria city - 10 minutes, Marsalforn - 25 minutes.
The nearest wi-fi spot is only 5 minutes walk at the main square, a restaurant with good meat and fish dishes is also there. The nearest supermarket is just across the street, two others are 5 and 7 minutes walk.
No air condition in the apartment - do not miss that important point, but there are fans in every bedroom, and terraces all around the flat, so half of them is always in the shade, the other in the sun.
Well equipped kitchen and bathroom with a washing machine make you completely independent if you want to save up. The flat is really cosy - it becomes your home in a couple of days.
So if you are thinking of an active holiday (not only chilling at the beach for two weeks) and not demanding something luxurious - moving around the island, seeing places and changing locations for you adventures day by day i would recommend this apartment and do not miss a chance to meet Lino and Rose who always make sure you have a comfortable stay
