San Lorenzo is a sort of a “Brooklyn village” where you live on a human scale. Indeed, due to the closeness to Rome’s main university, La Sapienza, the district has become one of the favorite day and evening location for local citizens and tourists, thanks to the pedestrian night area that allows to better enjoy the wide selection of authentic Roman restaurants, pizzerias, coffee bars, gelato shops, supermarkets, laundries, local markets, garages, churches, cinemas, pubs and night clubs.

Many of Rome's famous tourist attractions are within 3 km, and as the central Termini station and metro stop are just a stone's throw away (+ -15 min.), guests can conveniently reach any part of the city by public transportation.

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • The room itself was very nice. It was really clean and of high quality. The shower there was phenomenal especially after getting used to other places in Europe. Agnese was very helpful and she provided us with basic snacks and coffee.

We walked to the location at night from the train station and I wouldn't recommend doing that. It's a run-down, graffiti, don't-want-to-be-alone kind of place. After I realized the location is near a university it made more sense. Take the bus and you'll be fine.

  • Agnese was the perfect host during our holidays in Rome!
Rooms are excellent; they are cleaned every morning and include everything you might need: separate bathroom, towels, а safe, fresh fruits, water and snacks which are renewed every day. The location of the apartment is also very convenient: you can reach both Roma Termini and Roma Teburtina railway stations by foot.
Agnese was very kind and helped us to book the reservation to Borgese gallery, made a map with the track towards it and always explained us everything we needed.
We thank Agnese for this great hosting and highly recommend this apartment.
We look forward staying there again next time.

  • We had a superb time at Agnese's place. The rooms were big, absolutely clean and completely renovated. Agnese and her husband were reachable all the time and helped with all smaller and bigger problems we had immediately. The neighbourhood is really nice with a lot of pubs and small, but very good restaurants around. Another great thing about this place is the breakfast which is served in a typical italian style café at the next corner. Last but not least, if you are lucky check out times are flexible, if no other guests are expected the day you leave.

  • Agnese was a kind and accommodating host. Her guest apartment is very nice and new feeling (recently renovated). The double room that we stayed in for four nights was clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable, the ensuite bathroom with shower likewise. The breakfast coupons she provided allowed us a free fresh pastry and cappuccino at a nearby cafe. Very tasty.

If you're considering this as a base camp to explore the tourist side of Rome, you should be aware that it took us about 30-40 min. via public transit (mainly bus) to get to most major sites and the Termini train station is in walking distance, at about 15 min. away. The neighborhood nearby has a number of restaurants in a close radius (like the fusion chocolate restaurant, Said!).

All in all, we had an excellent stay and would recommend this BnB to fellow travelers to Rome.

  • Very pleasant stay! Room was VERY clean and Agnese is lovely, helpful and kindly available at any time either day or night (booked us a taxi at 4am and made sure we didn't forget about it).
Each day we had fresh friuts, yoghurts, coffee/tea and sweets/biscuits left in our room.
Breakfast included in the price but you need to walk down to restaurant (about 2 mins walk), service v.good, food/coffee delicious.
Agnese well done for providing great service! Highly recommended!

    Vielen Dank !

  • A very good spot in a very nice area!! Young people, no tourist (compare to other areas in Roma) and a lot of bars and restaurants with good aperetivo's!
The rooms are totally new, fresh looking and very very clean. Agnesi is a lovely host. She cleans your room everyday and everytime when i came back from the city i found water, fruit, cookies and candy on the desk! I booked three nights but i stayed almost two weeks! So i would say; "Go there!"

  • 'Rooms for You' was just perfect for us. New, comfortable and totally clean, well though over, with style, in a renewed historical building. In addition, both close to Roma Termini railway station and quiet at nights. Bus stops nearby connecting to the city center, metro stations and some historical monuments. Last but not least, Agnese and her husband were great hosts! They took care of everything and still we had our privacy. Thanks!
