This B&B is an excellent place when visiting Inverness a few days. Wilma gave us a friendly and informative reception and also gave good tips where to eat and what to do. Room is average size (as seen in the photo) as is the clean bathroom. Very tasty breakfast gave a good start for the day. Inverness is a friendly town. We liked the free parking. And only 10 mins walk to centre. Great stay for 2 nights.
Enjoyed a wonderful stay with the Tullochs in Inverness; I wish I could have stayed longer!
Wilma was very welcoming and gave great recommendations for sights, walks, dining and shops. She also shared some of the history of the city and the Highlands, which I really enjoyed as history is a passion of mine.
The room was very comfortable and freshly cleaned each day; breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start the day.
I highly recommend Lakeview B&B and hope to visit again soon!
B&B is perfectly located in a sweet, quiet neighbourhood but only a 5-10 minute walk from High Street, with a lot of restaurants, bars and shops. Really close to Castle Tavern, a great pub across from the castle overlooking the river.
Wilma was a great host, breakfast was lovely and really liked having a key to the back entrance so we could come and go quietly at our leisure. Bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very nice - just like staying in your own room.
Really recommend Wilma's to anyone who wants to stay close to the city centre - and did you know she has been on AirBnB for 3 years now! She is a total expert :)
Great location in Inverness. 10 min walk to the centre. Lovely room in a lovely house. Everything was exceptionally clean and nice. Wilma was an excellent host - very thoughtful and helpful. She made very good recommendations for the local area. We enjoyed our stay very much.
I had a wonderful stay at Wilma's B&B! It's located in a nice, quiet neighbourhood that is easy to reach on foot from the city centre. The room was comfortable, clean, and cozy. I slept like a baby on both nights. [And after trekking around the Scottish Highlands, I could've used another day in that bed!] Wilma is an excellent hostess; She provided clear directions, prepared a lovely breakfast, and genuinely cared about her guests' plans and interests. From start to finish, my stay was hassle-free. Thank you, Wilma!
Wilma and Hugh were lovely hosts and made me feel really welcome- felt like I was staying with family. I would highly recommend staying here both for location, but most importantly, for the great hosts who were warm, friendly and kind- nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and breakfast set me up for the day- a big thank you to Wilma and Hugh.
