The Neighborhood

Neighborhood: MISSION The Mission is perhaps the trendiest neighborhood of San Francisco, and Mission Concourse is located in perhaps the trendiest part of the Mission. A mix of hipsters, tech employees, and families who have lived in the area for a generation, this area gives you a friendly view to a true cross-section of the city. Within a block or two you will find super-hot bars like Trick Bar, great artisan restaurants like Salumeria, and legendary San Francisco eateries like Flour and Water.

Of course you are in the Mission so you will find a large selection of restaurants serving authentic Mexican, Ecuadorian, Guatemalan and other ethnic foods at low prices. We like Mis Antojitos on 22nd and Bryan, or even Dona Teresa which is two doors down, both owned by neighbors.

There is a fantastic convenience store steps away on the corner stocking gourmet foods, drinks (including beer, wine, and liquor), ice and other necessary and not-so-necessary items. Across the street you will find a laundry including dry cleaning and finish laundry. Also within a blocks distance are numerous coffee shops, cafes, and other Mission area institutions. A few minutes farther away you can enjoy the bustling neighborhood around 16th and Mission, but you may not want to leave the area right around you.

  • Solid apartment and great location. Family enjoyed their stay!

    April 2014
  • The apartment was perfect for our long weekend stay in SF. The location was easy to access to, with grocery and other shops conveniently located right near the premise. There are many restaurants/coffee shops/fun bars to walk to in the neighborhood. Parking wasn't difficult on the weekend either. The house has all the basics you'll need and we loved the decor. Overall it was a memorable, fun stay!

  • Prompt communication, clean listing. Recommended stay

  • We stayed in the apartment for two weeks. Overall we had a very nice experience. Rooms are very comfortable, huge TV in the living room, huge kitchen. Neighborhood is pretty safe, there is a nice Whole Foods store 10 min away.
We had only small problem with WIFI connection, but apparently it was only because we connected too many devices. So for future guests I would advise to follow the policy "One device per person";))
During our stay also we experienced a typical SF problem - the toilet got clogged. But it was very quickly fixed - Bernat called for a plumber, and the problem has been resolved very fast. Thanks for that!!!
I do advise this apartment for a stay! It's ideal for SF!

  • Our stay was very pleasant. We loved this bnb was modern and didn't have any personal items in the house. We are thinking of using your other rentals for our many stays in San Francisco. Thanks again.

  • My family and I had a lovely stay in this apartment and would be happy to stay there again. It was my first air BnB experience, but Bernat and his team made it easy. It was nice to have the large kitchen as we love to cook but it could have been better equipped (coffee maker but no coffee grinder, for example).

All in all, it was a great value in a lovely place.

    December 2013
  • The place was amazing, just as it appears in the pictures. Location is great too, walking distance to hip spots in trendy Mission. Bernat was a great host, very kind and attentive to our needs. We would definitely recommend this apartment and will come back in the future. Only downside was that the heater's thermostat is located in the unit below and it's controlled by whomever is staying there at the time; the guests below were really hot, while we were freezing upstairs. We had to keep asking them to raise the temperature, which of course was a bit of a hassle. Do consider this matter during the winter time. Other than that, GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!

    December 2013
  • I stayed in this apartment with 3 colleagues since we were on a business meeting in SF. It was everything we needed - spacious, nicely decorated and well located. Bernat was a great host. He gave us all the information we needed upfront and reacted very quickly when we had a little problem with the heater. I would definitely recommend to stay here if you are looking for great apartment in Mission.

    December 2013
  • Completely as advertised. Gorgeous roomy place in lively neighborhood. Tons of top restaurants and bars within walking distance. The place is on a relatively quiet block with a cute taqueria next door serving up late night tacos. It was professionally cleaned and spotless. There is closet space galore, with none of the owner's personal effects in the place. The kitchen was a bit sparse in terms of pots and pans, and never found the tea towels... Never got a chance to ask bernat about this. Oh yeah, and one of the best things about this place is the coded door lock. We were a group of 4 (place fits 3-4 couples easily), and we could come and go independently as we chose without having to worry about coordinating keys. I would 100% recommend this place to a friend and will likely be renting it again myself.

    November 2013
  • Everything was clean and tidy in this beautiful spacious apartment. Location is great and we could not ask for more. Thanks Bernat.

About
I love my wife, my parents and my brother, without them nothing would be the same! I like to provide people accommodation during their stay in San Francisco. I also have on Airbnb one cute apartment in the heart of Barcelona. San Francisco is such an amazing city surrounded by history, unique culture and special events throughout the whole year, and I want to make sure my guests enjoy their stay as much as possible! My favorite places in the world are San Francisco, Menorca, Barcelona and a place I haven't been yet. I love the Mediterranean sea and its magic. My motto is: If you can dream it, you can do it!
