If you're like me, you just need a nice place to stay, not an expensive one. We have a large house with an empty bedroom just waiting for you. The house is open and spacious, the bedroom has a nice queen size bed and full bath just outside the door. There is a gameroom with TV if you want some private chill time or you can join us in the main room for conversation, movies, TV, whatever.
We are located just off I-35 in North Fort Worth, 5 minutes from Cabelas and Alliance Airport, 10 minutes from Texas Motor Speedway, 15 minutes from Downtown Fort Worth, 20 minutes from Southlake, 25 minutes from Grapevine Mills Mall & Bass Pro, 30 minutes from DFW airport.
We are easy to stay with, won't cook you breakfast but promise you won't go hungry with an assortment of breakfast goodies. There's always snacks and something to drink. High speed internet and wifi are necessary parts of life and we have both.
We do have some extra floor space and a few air beds if you have some extras (Just don't tell them that you get the comfy bed!).
Other Things to Note
We require you to have completed AirBnb Verifications to stay with us. Verifications are a great safety measure for both guests and hosts.
There aren't really a lot of house rules, we're pretty laid back. It is a non smoking environment. We don't have any pets so we'd ask that you leave yours at home. This keeps it clear from an alergy standpoint.
You are welcome to use the washer / dryer and kitchen. Two TV areas plenty of room to relax. We have seriously fast Internet / wifi and Netflix so you can catch up on your shows.
If you want privacy, we respect that. If you're inclined to visit, we're cool with that too. We're pretty flexible so if you have a unique request just run it by us and we'll see what we can do to make it work.
Staying here has been a really great experience. Everything that was listed was fully accurate and truly is 'nice and easy.' I stayed here for 8 weeks and I felt like part of the family. Very nice place to stay.
I (Parker, Jonathan’s wife) stayed with John and his wife Joanne for 2 nights. Throughout the stay I felt welcomed into their home. They made sure I had everything I needed, set out snacks, water, and breakfast foods, and communicated as often as appropriate. John and Joanne even graciously invited me to dinner with their friends, which was thoughtful (I was there by myself). The home is beautiful and clean, and is in a quiet, safe, nice neighborhood. The bed is very comfortable, there was ample closet space, and I was able to get plenty of much-needed sleep (they were very quiet). The bathroom was spotless (and had a great shower), and the Wi-Fi was fast. I would absolutely stay with John and Joanne again!
Excellent. Just as the other reviews say, John and fam are great hosts. The room is comfortable and tucked away a bit from the rest of the house. John was very friendly, yet I never felt required to chat or come hang out. Location could be more central, but all in all made my time in Fort Worth as comfortable as I could bee hope.
Couldn't have started my AirBnB experience any better. Beautiful home, but more importantly John and Joan were extremely kind and hospitable. The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. They are professional about their duties as the hosts, but are very friendly and enjoyable to get to know. Very much worth the money.
John and Joanne made me feel very welcome in their home, and my stay was very comfortable. All the amenities were there, and the neighborhood is nice. The bed is comfortable, and the house is very quiet, which is important to me.
It was pleasure meeting John & his wife. They were very accommodating and friendly. We had a really great time staying with their family.
John was very welcoming, thoughtful and considerate. Inviting me to join his wife Joanne and their Granddaughter for supper at a local restaurant.
I am happily married, don't smoke, enjoy the journey as much as the destination. Low maintenance, low drama, laid back.
Healthier than I have ever been, run - hike - bike (both pedal and motorized).
Believe life is what you can give to others.
