What a great spot. Tucked away on an idyllic hillside above a shimmering blue green bay. Comfortable and cozy like a little farmhouse, with a great kitchen for making meals and couches to sit by the fire or watch a movie at night. The only ambient noise are the birds in the trees and the sheep in the meadow. Plenty to do nearby, and well located for exploring northern Connemara and southern Mayo. Bowen and his family were welcoming hosts, and generous with their knowledge of and suggestions for things to do during the day. And if you come, make sure to head to Tully Cross for a bite at Paddy Coyne's. Highly recommend staying at Bowen's.

This location was a highlight of our trip to Ireland! The self catering cottage was comfortable, bright and clean and in a terrific location for exploring this beautiful corner of the country. Our days were filled with memorable activities in beautiful places. Bowen, the host, lives with his family right next door and they were helpful and available. We would highly highly recommend this property!

We had an amazing stay. Bowen is a very nice guy, he welcomed us with delicious home made bread and provided us with butter, jam and milk. The house is large and comfortable, we really appreciated playing board games. It's very well located to discover the beautiful Connemara region. We totally recommend staying there !

The Coach House is a great place to explore Connemara. Remote enough to experience the stillness of the area, and still quite close to major attractions. If you'd like to wet your toes, then the friendly people of Scubadive West are just around the corner to take you diving or snorkeling. If you have or want to stay inside then you will comfortable as well, with plenty of board games, DVDs and the best equipped kitchen we have ever encountered at an AirBnB.

This is a great house for a large family with kids, it was spacious, well equipped, very clean. If you have kids, you know that sometimes less means more and I have enjoyed that the house was well prepared for a family with kids - there was plenty of toys, books and board games for children, also dvd's for them, but there wasn't any things that kids could break easily. No figurines, vases, crystals. I could leave kids in a living room with toys and I would know that they won't do any damage. Extra star for Bowen for safe guard installed on the top of the stairs, it was super helpful. Kids had a great time in Bowen's house with lots of space. Communication with Bowen was very good and he was a very welcoming host. There is good internet in the house, but no mobile signal (you can catch reception few hundred metres away). It's a beautiful place to stay with sandy beaches, lakes and mountains nearby. House is in a very secluded place and unfortunately there are no views from it, but we were out a whole day anyway, so it wasn't a problem. Killary Adventure Centre, Killary Fjord and a Sheep Farm are close and the scenery is breathtaking. I would recommend this house for a family with children. Thank you Bowen, we had a terrific stay!
