Interaction with Guests
It's up to you: Complete privacy or we would love to have you visit with us so we can learn all about life where you are from.
Our neighbourhood is a small rural area surrounded by farm land including blueberry and cranberry fields and golf courses. We live across the street from a tree nursery who grow plants for the local retail market.
The surrounding neighbourhood is cute and serves as a reminder of what a lot of neighbourhoods in Richmond used to look like.
You can walk to the restaurant at Mayfair golf course, it is excellent. However, that is really the only walkable establishment other than the winery - as we are rural.
Our creative neighbours, Janet and Dave, grew the largest pumpkin in BC in October 2013 and transformed it into a princess carriage. Here's a link to the newspaper story: (website hidden)
We are 1/2 block from bus service that runs during weekdays at peak hours only. It is best to have your own vehicle. 10 minute drive to parking ($2.50 per day) at rapid transit Canada Line's Bridgeport Station which then takes you downtown Vancouver in appx. 15 minutes.
We are 15 minutes from the Vancouver airport.
Other Things to Note

Golfers paradise - Complimentary brand new men's (Taylormade) and ladies' (Idea) full set of clubs plus pull carts. (Right handed)

About the Host, Colleen
Rob and Colleen have an unending passion for renovating and with Rob being in the real estate business we have had fun turning many an ugly duckling house into a beautiful swan. We love travelling and staying with locals as we enjoy meeting folks and really living and learning about the local culture. So we decided to create a guest suite to share our lovely space and make your visit to the west coast of Canada as comfortable and affordable as possible. We look forward to meeting you.
