Robert and Colleen Kirk would love to welcome you to our rural home.
Our neighbourhood is a small rural area surrounded by farm land including blueberry and cranberry fields and golf courses. We live across the street from a large plant/tree nursery who grow plants for the local retail market.
In June 2013 our neighbourhood was included in the Best of Richmond, People and Places article in the local newspaper Richmond Review:
Best obscure park
Ever been to Fedoruk Kartner Park? We bet a lot of Richmondites never have. It’s a small park located at the corner of Fedoruk and Kartner in East Richmond, off of Westminster Highway not too far from No. 7 Road. It features a small playground for kids. The surrounding neighbourhood is cute and serves as a reminder of what a lot of neighbourhoods in Richmond used to look like.
Our creative neighbours, Janet and Dave, grew the largest pumpkin in BC in October 2013 and transformed it into a princess carriage. Here's a link to the story: (website hidden)(phone number hidden).html
We are 1/2 block from bus service that runs during weekdays at peak hours. It is best to have your own vehicle. 10 minute drive to parking ($2.50 per day) at rapid transit Canada Line's Bridgeport Station which then takes you downtown Vancouver in appx. 15 minutes.
We are 20 minutes from the airport.

I couldn't have asked for more. It was just so awesome being able to relax in such a charming place. All of Colleens decorating details and her way of making me feel welcome.made the whole experience just perfect. Thank you Colleen!
Colleen and Rob are so nice. The suite is super good!!! I love it so much! They have prepared everything you need, even umbrellas and milk! I love the bed, soft and comfortable. Definitely will recommend to anyone who will go to Vancouver.
Colleens and Rob's place was just as advertised. The suite was as depicted in the pictures. It was very comfortable and the kitchen was nicely set up. The hosts were very hospitable and you knew your comfort was a top priority to them. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.
Listed information were all correct. The place was very nice, and Mrs. Colleen made it very comfortable for all check in, stay, and check out process.
It was an awesome stay!

This room in Richmond near Vancouver is more like a flat than a room, because it is very big and has it own kitchen and bathroom. The room is epuiped with lovely furniture. Colleen and her husband a very nice and I advice every guest to have breakfast with them. It was great.
All in all this room is better than every hotel!
About the Host, Colleen
Rob and Colleen have an unending passion for renovating and with Rob being in the real estate business we have had fun turning many an ugly duckling house into a beautiful swan. We love travelling and staying with locals as we enjoy meeting folks and really living and learning about the local culture. So we decided to create a guest suite to share our lovely space and make your visit to the west coast of Canada as comfortable and affordable as possible. We look forward to meeting you.
