  • We were so lucky to stay in this well-appointed apartment on Bermondsey Street in the heart of London and close to so many gastronomical delights. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the tea, coffee, snacks, Prosecco and fresh fruit left by our thoughtful Host. The facilities are good with a dishwasher and washing machine to make the stay even better. Beds were comfortable and towels nicely absorbent! The views from both terraces are spectacular and we enjoyed tea and breakfast on the terrace while watching the world go by. Communication was really easy and I was always speedily responded to if an issue needed clarifying. When we wanted to stay an extra night prior to our original booking, there was no problem as the apartment was available and Wendy came out of her way to meet and greet us at 7pm on our first night, even leaving little phone messages about local shops etc. after she had gone! Nothing was too much trouble. We very much hope to make a return visit in the near future and recommend anyone who wishes to stay in London in a 'home from home' to get in touch with Tara. You won't be disappointed and will find the area a wonderful one from which to explore the Tower Bridge side of the city. We found the break refreshing and care-free. Thanks Tara & Wendy:)

  • Our family spent a great week at Tara's flat. We loved the location and the fabulous terrace. Tara was very easy to communicate with and Wendy, who greeted us, was very friendly and helpful. The bottle of bubbly, big bowl of fruit, milk, tea and coffee were an extra treat and much appreciated :) Thanks for making our stay in London so special and we hope to be back!

  • We had a great stay at this flat.
Everything is exactly as described and Tara received us warmly.
The kitchen is well equipped and Tara had prepared stuff for us (tea, milk, fruit, jam etc.) which was great.
The area around the flat is excellent with supermarkets, restaurants, underground stations, buses etc. all close by.
Some minor remarks, the lack of curtains in the living room makes for a very early start as the sunlight is quite strong. There are no hooks in any of the bathrooms to hang towels on, which is rather peculiar.
All in all, great value for money !!

  • Tara is a wonderful hostess! This large apartment is well-located in very cool Bermondsey Street, close to public transportation and with plenty of taxis sailing by. The kitchen is well-equipped, with lots of plates, pots and pans, spices, etc. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of champagne, and there were fresh fruit, coffee, tea and small foods in the house for us. It was delightful. The two bedrooms are very comfortable. The living/dining area is large and commodious, if a bit worn.

  • We had a great stay at Tara's apartment! We enjoyed the very bright and spacious livingroom and main bedroom (the second bedroom is smaller but cosy). Well equipped kitchen! The view on Bermondsey Street is wonderful - this area is very cool and beautiful! Communication with Tara was fast, kind, easy!

  • Appartement plaisant, avec des grandes baies, très lumineux, parfait pour 4 personnes. Bien situé dans un quartier très sympa. A 10min à pied du métro station London bridge. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

  • I was in the flat of Tara for 5 days at New Year.
We were six friends and we had a great time. The rooms are nice and bright. The living area is very large and Tara has left a beautiful Christmas tree.
Due to the work that we are near the London Bridge station we had difficulty finding the apartment and Wendy was so nice that we came to retrieve the street.
The only flaw is that the sofa bed in the lounge is a bit uncomfortable and the fact that there is no tent, so the morning comes a lot of light from the large glass door that opens onto the terrace.
For the rest I recommend everyone stay for the comfort of the apartment and the kindness of the host.

  • Nice place to stay for visiting London for a french family with 4 children.
The apartment corresponds very well to the presentation.
We enjoyed very much our Xmas holidays.
    Thanks Tara and Wendy.

About
I really love living and working in London. Sampling all the delicious foods in the many restaurants, visiting one of the many markets, galleries, parks or plays. Strolling up my road - Bermondsey Street, stopping off at the bustling Antiques Fair and Borough Market. As you can see I like good food, good company in a great spaces. I am adventurous, with a good sense of humour; someone who believes you shouldn't take life too seriously and live it to the ful!
