Do not hesitate to ask me for recommendations on Madrid. I've been 30 years living in the center, I love my city and I know it pretty well.
I hope you have a great stay while you are at my place. And I hope you feel at home there. So treat the house like you would treat yours. Be nice to the neighbors like you´d be to yours. Be especially careful with lamp, dresser and table at the dinning room because they are collection pieces (and very expensive). We also ask you not to touch the audio cables and projection equipment (they are very hard to place back). Do not turn off the heating as it is common with the house next door and not touch the router for the same reason. And, please enjoy the flat and the city.
I´m Fernando, I´ve lived in Madrid most of my life, and I love my city.
I first airbnb during a long trip through the United States. As a guest I found it a great way to visit places. Much better than hotels. So when I came back I decided to rent my place. Its a house i designed for me and my wife . We bought it because it had tons of light, clear views and mainly the best location. Its in a quiet pedestrian street with many orange trees, but you are in the middle of everything and you can walk to all the places that we loved in Madrid. I hope you enjoy it as we did when we lived there.
