This 352 square foot modern studio boasts an exceptional outdoor living space. Sit on the porch with your morning coffee before you head out for adventure and keep an eye out for the deer that feel right at home on our 40 acre property. The space
Our thoughtfully designed studio loft is ideal for anyone seeking a serene retreat. The space features modern furnishings, ensuring a comfortable and stylish stay.
Outfitted with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, one-burner hot plate, toaster, waffle maker, Keurig, electric kettle, and a hot and iced drip coffee maker, the kitchenette is equipped for your basic culinary needs, allowing you to whip up a meal or prepare a picnic for your outdoor adventures. There is an eating bar for two, which faces the mountain view.
Step outside and experience the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Enjoy the morning sun rising over the ridge. The upper deck has a bistro set, while the lower outdoor space has both an electric gril and a charcoal grill for barbecuing, a prep bar, a porch swing for moments of relaxation, an outdoor shower (seasonal), and a covered bike parking/storage area. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit to enjoy the warmth of a crackling fire. It's the perfect spot to make smores and create lasting memories.
Experience the beauty of the mountains from both the upper and lower decks. Our Loft offers excellent mountain views, providing a picturesque backdrop for your stay. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE IS NO TV and limited cell phone service. However, we are now able to provide Wi-Fi. ( It is provided through Starlinx and can be great or glitchy. So. if you need a strong and consistent signal, please considered this as you plan your stay.) However, we hope you will enjoy the experience of disconnecting. Nearby activities include canoeing/kayaking the Buffalo River, trails in the National River and Ozark National Forest, elk viewing at Boxley Valley, rock climbing/zip lining and horseback riding at Horseshoe Canyon, ATV/OHV trails, mountain biking, caving and scenic driving routes.
The Loft is located .7 miles from the Hasty Access, 2.3 miles from the Carver Access, and only 8 miles from the beautiful town of Jasper, which is the home to the famous Ozark Café. Jasper offers other dining and shopping experiences and is a good central hub for outdoor adventures. There are many beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, and vistas such as Sam’s Throne, The Glory Hole, Hawksbill Crag, and the Arkansas Grand Canyon, to name only a few. Stay with us and explore all that nature has to offer. There’s an abundant supply of adventure in Buffalo River Country! The gravel county road used to be an access to a place on the Buffalo called Baughman Hole. There is still a trail easement that you may follow to the river, and this trail intersects the “Old Ridgerunner Trail” that leads to Blue Hole. Remember that you are in the great outdoors, and you may encounter mosquitos, snakes, ticks, chiggers, etc on your jaunt. Bug spray may be required, but you might find tea tree oil is effective. You may also get to experience encounters with deer, turkey, an occasional elk, and a variety of birds including eagles, owls, and waterfowl. There is good fishing in the Buffalo, famous for its smallmouth bass, but please remember an Arkansas fishing license is required.

~~Private Retreat: Despite being close to the main house (around 90 feet), The Loft is strategically designed to offer you complete privacy. Enjoy a space that is exclusively yours. Please refer to the balcony photo which shows proximity to the main house.
~~Accessibility: The Loft living space is accessed by a flight of 15 stairs. --Be aware that Newton Country is dry county.
