It is Paraiso - paradise! Our stylish & comfortable one bedroom studio unit has a relaxed feeling.
The villa is separate to the main house, and has private entry via a side lane. Although the pool and spa are shared with the house, the backyard is relatively private.
Paraiso is fully self-contained. It has a dish-washer, full size fridge, hot plates, microwave and basic amenities with a Caesar stone topped kitchen.
The lounge/bedroom area has an Italian leather twin reclining lounge, TV with DVD player, ipod dock station, comfortable queen size bed, with views over the pool through cedar shutters.
There is a console table made from frozen Indian railway sleepers and stainless steel. This eating area and writing area overlooks the azure pool.
The bathroom is exquisite. The shower area has two facilities - a rain-head and a hand held shower. A large window in the shower recess overlooks a water feature.
The unit is equipped with reverse air-conditioning. It is tastefully decorated with many paintings and artwork from Mexico and Northern Territory.
There is an outdoor BBQ for the use of guests, with table and chairs beside the pool.
It's an invitation to tranquility on the Coffs Coast.

Urunga has much to offer the visitor. There are several walks close to Paraiso that follow the river. The boardwalk is a 5 minute walk. This boardwalk is one of the longest in Australia. It connects the "city" and the surf!
The rivers meet at Urunga before going out to sea.
Anchors Wharf Cafe, on the river, opens at 8.00 each morning for breakfast, coffee or lunch. Dinner on some nights.
Dorrigo national park has many beautiful rainforest walks.
Bellingen is only 10 minutes by car. It offers a nostalgic step back to a peaceful town of cafés and gift shops.
Coffs Harbour has the Big Banana and the Jetty Foreshores.
You can walk along our beach to Hungry Head (only patrolled surf beach in Urunga) and further to Valla - but take a good picnic snack!
Entry to Paraiso is from Coopers Lane. The gate is to be closed at all times. Bundy, the house Labrador, is kept in the front yard. Only dogs are permitted as pets, and prior notice is required. Dogs are not allowed in the unit (as this is against health regulations, and it compromises the unit for people with allergies). Smoking is not permitted inside the unit.
All was ready for our arrival. Everything we needed for our comfort was well proved for
Denise was a lovely host that catered for our needs well. The place was impeccable and fully stocked. The photos were accurate and the check in process was smooth. She also gave very good advice about what to do around the area. Bundy, the dog was fun to play with too :) We had a wondersful stay!
Paraiso is just that - Paradise! Set in the backyard of the big house, once you enter the door you are in your own private luxurious haven! Everything is as pictured - only real! Great breakfast foods are left and little extras too! And the spa is divine!!! It's a great place to stay a few days with Bellingen and Sawtell so close for day-trips too!
We run an Airbnb in Port (Rainforest Haven) and learned a lot about great hospitality!!!
We didn't meet Denise, but met Steve when we ate at their beautiful riverside restaurant, only walking distance away! The meal even surpassed the view! Great on all levels - I'd definitely recommend it!
Nice studio apartment in quiet location. Only issue was the fridge was very noisy and kept us awake! Other than that, recommended.
Denise's place was clean, welcoming and luxurious. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. It was certainly a high point on our journey South. Thanks Denise x
Denise welcomed us to her home. We had a refreshing swim in the pool and the spa was nice. The studio was nice and comfortable.
The Paraiso had everything you need when staying away from home. With a high end feel, it was beautifully furnished and clean. Denise was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Will definitely stay again if we pass by the area.
