We had a great time at the cabin. It was well equipped for our needs: very comfy bed, everything we needed for a little cooking, quiet, beautiful setting, nice tub and shower. We would gladly book again if in the area.
Carole and Duncan were amazing hosts. Their cottage was beautiful and they were incredibly communicative and generous. They provided all the comforts of a bed and breakfast in their backyard!
This is a lovely place to stay. We were there for 1 night while in the area to do the Sonoma Canopy Tour. The owners are very nice and the place is clean and well located. We loved the back deck for relaxing and reading a book. The only downside were the local roosters at 5am. Otherwise it is extremely quiet. And the owners provide juice and muffins in the morning. We recommend it!
Carole & Duncan’s light and bright, little one room cabin was perfect for me. Quiet, in a beautiful setting, equipped with everything I needed for a week’s stay while working in Santa Rosa—comfortable bed, kitchen with all I needed to cook including teas & coffee & spices, two space heaters to take off the morning chill, WiFi…and a welcoming bottle of wine, orange juice, pastries. Cozy nook I look forward to staying in again. Carole & Duncan were gracious and welcoming and easy to communicate with.
We loved staying here. Private and quiet, clean and comfortable. Duncan and Carole are exceptionally nice and helpful and we look forward to returning the next time we are in the area.
Carole and Duncan's cabin is a perfect space to get away. The cabin is absolutely adorable and beautifully decorated. The full kitchen is a big plus, and you can enjoy your home-cooked meal out on the back deck that boasts a gorgeous view. Parking is really easy (you have a reserved spot in their driveway). Carole provided us with a bunch of recommendations for places to eat and things to do nearby before we even got there, and it was a big help in planning our trip. On top of that, the kitchen came stocked with fresh fruit and delicious baked goods. Carole and Duncan were gracious hosts and we would definitely recommend this great space!
My wife, 6-month-old and I had a tremendous weekend at this cabin. Carole was super communicative and her daughter Esther, who looked after us for the weekend, took care of everything (I even got a free pair of dark socks out of the deal when I neglected to pack my own for a wedding).
Comfortable, amazing view, and right in the middle of wine country...we can't wait to come back!
Carole and Duncan are great. The place was exactly what we needed and as described. We stayed there with our 2 small dogs and planned a canoe trip on the Russian River that weekend. Everything was smooth, great hosts and would revisit. We went to downtown Sebastopol one night and really enjoyed it. It was close, lots of restaurants and places to go.
We stayed at the cabin for a month while we searched for a place to live in Sonoma County - what a beautiful, peaceful hidden gem this is! Surrounded by all manner of wildlife great and small, yet not too far from downtown Sebastopol...lots of natural light and a super-private back deck for al fresco dining. Really a great place to stay.
We're so glad we found this spot, and Carole & Duncan were lovely hosts - available whenever we needed them, but never intrusive. Thanks again for everything!
In terms of location, the wonderful hosts, and a beautiful setting, this is one of the most beautiful Airbnb places we have stayed. The hosts were so thoughtful (cabin was very well stocked with everything imaginable) and on top if it when it came to communication. I have already recommended this place to several friends for a future stay! Thank you for an amazing and relaxing retreat!
