The cabin was perfect for our needs, almost exactly as we had imagined. Duncan welcomed us upon arrival, showing us everything about the place we needed to know. It was the kind of warm welcome one hopes for. Meeting Carole later was equally nice. As hosts, they were perfect: easily reachable and very enjoyable to visit with. They are never intrusive, we had all the privacy we needed.
Everything was as pictured and/or described. The cabin feels much larger than it actually is, because it is so well set up and comfortable - and very clean, as well. It is very thoughtfully appointed, with some lovely touches. The neighborhood has a rural feel to it (no sidewalks on the narrow lanes, for instance), is very quiet and pleasant, but is not remote. Sebastopol is a very nice small town.
We happily stay there again.
Carole and Duncan were great hosts. They accommodated my late arrival.
The cabin was perfect just as they described. Nestle in the countryside outside Sebastospol. We could sit out in the balcony at night and see the stars. The perfect get away for me. I am an outdoors person. I never watch TV but need good internet and I had good internet:)
I will be back again when I need a getaway. I highly recommend this cabin to you.
We had a great time at the cabin. It was well equipped for our needs: very comfy bed, everything we needed for a little cooking, quiet, beautiful setting, nice tub and shower. We would gladly book again if in the area.
Carole and Duncan were amazing hosts. Their cottage was beautiful and they were incredibly communicative and generous. They provided all the comforts of a bed and breakfast in their backyard!
This is a lovely place to stay. We were there for 1 night while in the area to do the Sonoma Canopy Tour. The owners are very nice and the place is clean and well located. We loved the back deck for relaxing and reading a book. The only downside were the local roosters at 5am. Otherwise it is extremely quiet. And the owners provide juice and muffins in the morning. We recommend it!
Carole & Duncan’s light and bright, little one room cabin was perfect for me. Quiet, in a beautiful setting, equipped with everything I needed for a week’s stay while working in Santa Rosa—comfortable bed, kitchen with all I needed to cook including teas & coffee & spices, two space heaters to take off the morning chill, WiFi…and a welcoming bottle of wine, orange juice, pastries. Cozy nook I look forward to staying in again. Carole & Duncan were gracious and welcoming and easy to communicate with.
We loved staying here. Private and quiet, clean and comfortable. Duncan and Carole are exceptionally nice and helpful and we look forward to returning the next time we are in the area.
