There is also a separate utility room with full size washer and dryer available for use upon request.
This is a wonderfully peaceful community with a lush park area and tennis courts. The home is a very spacious 2,200 square ft, one-story townhome with two bedrooms (of which one, I occupy unless the whole house is leased) and two bathrooms. The guest room is on the opposite side of the house from my Master bedroom, with the living room, dining room, breakfast room and kitchen separating the spaces. The guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed, desk and is very spacious with a large walk-in closet. The bathroom is accessible from the bedroom, so when the doors are closed, the bedroom and bath are completely private. The living room has floor to ceiling windows for lots of natural light and maximizes how spacious it is. The home is modern with ceramic tile floors and plush carpet throughout. I do own a small dog; however, the house stays very clean and organized. The guest area has all linens and blankets, pillows, wonderfully fluffy white bath towels, and toiletries if needed.
There is also a large, internal private courtyard with outdoor rug and chairs with ottomans, giving you a peaceful place to kick back in the mornings with a cup of coffee or end your day relaxing. Private guest parking is also available in the back of the house.
This is a "gated" area where each house has its own locked gate before reaching the front door. Carrollton police have said that this is one of the safest and most inconspicuous neighborhoods in this area of Dallas. I actually checked on this before I purchased the house. The community has a lush park area within walking distance and tennis court access available upon request. The park is for the residents and their guests only, so it's a very quiet area.
Nearby major retailers such as Target, Kroger and a few fast-food places along with a convenience store, are located right around the corner. There is also a plethora of restaurants approximately a quarter mile away from the house.
I'm usually away from the house enjoying the great Texas weather. I mostly keep to myself since I am very busy, so you can have as much privacy as you want. I do love meeting people from all over the world and travel internationally quite a bit myself. The layout of my house allows for no interaction with me or as much as you like. I think this situation is best for mature professionals, college students while looking for an apartment, or very private individuals who want calm, security, cleanliness and spaciousness while on a short-term or extended stay in Dallas. Extended stays can be negotiated from the usual listed price.
If you need help arranging transportation during your visit or to and from the airport, please let me know and I will be able to either pick you up if I am available or forward you the number of the airport shuttle or limo services that I have used.
Depends on length of stay. Basic stay access is bedroom, bathroom and living area. The refrigerator is accessible for guest to keep their drinks cold, etc.

This is a wonderfully peaceful neighborhood with street lined large oak trees and lush landscaping.
There is a city bus, taxi service and railway not far from the house.
Other Things to Note
The community is located within walking distance to some of the city’s top eating establishments and entertainment. There are also fast food establishments and grocery stores within walking distance.
Please be prepared for me to request a valid government ID/passport, prior to arrival and at arrival. No over night guest please. No smoking.
Michele was an awesome hostess! We hit it off immediately and will no doubt be friends for a long time to come. The house was extremely clean, and very comfortable. The location was close to the turnpike and lots of stores and restaurants. Michele made me feel welcome and made cocoa and muffins every weekend! She is friendly and I highly recommend staying with her!
Michele's place is at the end in a very quiet cul-de-sac in a beautifully landscaped subdivision. The house has an inner courtyard that brings in a lot of light and is nicely appointed. Perfect house for quiet reading, writing, sketching etc. Michele helped guide me in by phone when my GPS would not cooperate, and had everything ready when I arrived. She was always there on cue getting the muffins and coffee ready in the morning, bringing fresh towels or giving local advice. Yet she also gave me my privacy, and the room, with its separate bath and high ceiling feels nicer than a comparable hotel room and is on the opposite side of the house from Michele's personal living quarters. It almost felt like having my own apartment.
The only unfortunate thing was we did not get to meet our host. As we drove into the community, it reminded me and my fiance of our own town home community. It was like a home away from home. Extremely quite neighborhood. Michele left us fresh baked muffins for when we got there.
This was my first AirBnB stay, and it was awesome! Michele was an amazing host, and the room/house was beautiful. She left us muffins and fruit and opened her home up to us. The whole process was simple and Michele was wonderful!
