About this listing
Whether you're visiting The Bahamas for business or pleasure, our home is likely to be a good fit for your stay.
For longer stays or for families, it's great because you can cook for yourself and avoid the hassle and expense of staying in a cramped hotel room and eating every meal in a restaurant.
You can relax and enjoy your stay in a quiet, authentic Bahamian neighbourhood, and still have access to the beach or the attractions and amenities of the big hotels.
Our centrally located 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is light and airy, with big, comfortable bedrooms.
But we doubt you'll be spending too much time inside, as our large garden and swimming pool will be keeping you outside, enjoying the beautiful Bahamian sunshine!
If you want the peace and relaxation, but don't want to skimp on the creature comforts you're used to, not to worry! Our home is equipped with new, quiet ductless air conditioners in each room, wireless high-speed internet, flat screen TVs and DirecTV, so you can stay connected even while you're away! And just in case the power goes out, there's an automatic standby generator to keep everything running smoothly!
We live in the same neighbourhood, just around the corner, so if you need anything at all, we're just 2 minutes away! We love our neighbourhood; within a 10 minute drive, you can find anything you want or need: downtown shopping, hotels & beaches on Paradise Island, Montagu beach, grocery stores, restaurants, fast food, dry cleaners, hospital, pharmacies, gas station and more, and just 20 minutes from the airport.
We would also be more than happy to help you with airport pick-up/drop-off, rental car/scooter arrangements, taxis, directions, suggestions for what to do/where to go and anything else you might need!
Please feel free to message us with any questions or for more information!

About the Host, Laura
I was born & raised in The Bahamas; lived here my whole life except the four years I attended Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. After graduation, my then boyfriend, now husband, Benji and I returned to Nassau to be closer to our families.
Benji & I recently became parents to our beautiful baby girl, Marlo, so we spend most of our time entertaining her :) But when we're not catering to Marlo, we're working on projects around the house, or spending time with our 4 beautiful Shiloh Shepherds.
