Charming cottage in a small quiet town with views to the mountains. We loved our stay including a lovely breakfast provided by Tracy. She provided great recommendations for a local night market with food and entertainment. We also loved the climb to the top of Montsegur which was just moments away.
The reservation was canceled 30 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Our host was very welcoming and provided a very generous home cooked meal (entre, main, dessert and cheese , 18€ extra per person) which was very welcome after the long trip to Montferrier.
On this occasion we had the whole house to ourselves so was very spacious. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms and bathroom were very spacious.
The house was easy to find and located just as you entered the village. The village is great to walk around but there is not much there in the way of shops. One small food shop and no restaurants open in September. It is a great location for visiting Montsegur.
NIce home, very suitable for 4, in a lovely little town with a grocery store/bakery within walking distance. It is easily accessible, by car, to all of the Cathar region. We took day trips to all of the major Cathar castles and even had an opportunity to spend a few hours at the beach in Canet-Plage, just beyond Perpignan. There are a number of small to mid-size towns that are also interesting to visit. The hosts live close by and are available to help. It is a beautiful and interesting area that shouldn't be bypassed
Lovely house in an ideal village for sun lovers and skiers. Tracey was a great hostess and looked after us beautifully.
