Lovely house in an ideal village for sun lovers and skiers. Tracey was a great hostess and looked after us beautifully.
We stayed one night at Tracy's nice house. It is indeed very tastefully furnished, and the hand of a woman who cares for her surroundings was detectible all over.
We thoroughly enjoyed the fire, the large bathroom, the comfortble bed, and the soft music that was playing when we entered.
We were lucky to be on our own that night, which certainly contributed to the calmness and peace of the house.
Tracy took the B&B idea seriously and served us a nice breakfast!
We would certainly call again!
We spent a lovely night at Tracy's house. She was extremely kind and welcomming. The house in itself is clean and very pleasant with a nice fireplace.
We also had a pretty good diner for quite a reasonnable price.
I recommend this place to whoever want to visit this beautiful region.
Tracy gave good instructions, the house is very homely and we were made very welcome.
The area is lovely with lots of places to go and things to do.
Tracy provided a meal that was most enjoyable.
La casa chulísima y Tracy fué muy atenta y encantadora. Ideal para ir con niños o con amigos.
Nos lo pasamos muy bien y seguramente repetiremos
Tracy and her husband are very welcoming were and very nice. Their charming house with 3 big size rooms, facing mountain is exactly what we imagine. We were 4, the kids were happy to be there. Thank you Tracey for your warm welcome!
We recommend this lovely place!
This lovely, comfortable and spacious house in the village of Montferrier was a fantastic base from which to explore the region. On our first day, my three teenage children marched me from our front door straight up hill to the top of Chateau Montsegur (approximately 16 km round trip!) We rented canoes at Limoux and explored the River Aude, visited the lake at Montbel for swimming and headed deep into the woods to explore a WWII era resistance camp.
Tracy and her husband James are warm and helpful hosts. The house had plenty of room for five. We hope to make it back again someday!
We spent 4 nights in Montferrier and had the whole house to ourselves, which was great. Tracy and her family are fantastic hosts, we actually saw them every night at their place, using their internet. The house is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The location is perfect to get to know that part of Ariege region. We definitely will come back again, if we visit the area again.
Tracy hosted us in her very lovely home in Montferrier. It is an ideal location to discover Cathar country in the Languedoc region.
The rooms are very large and stylishly decorated with big beautiful windows to enjoy the lovely breeze. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes and we had more than enough room to prepare meals for our family of 6. We barbecued often and enjoyed eating outside in the garden.
There was the inconvenience of no internet in the house. As it is advertised in the amenities we did not think to confirm in advance with Tracy and she let us know there was no internet upon arrival. Tracy offered that we use the internet at her home which is close by and brought over some dvd's for our children to watch.
