The flat features a fully-equipped kitchen with all dishware, cookware, and stovetop espresso maker.
The bedroom features a double bed with luxury linens and a plush headboard for your relaxation, a drawer for clothes and open hangers, and a full-length mirror to ensure you're looking good! Toiletries and towels are provided during your stay, for use in our spacious bathroom with combination shower and jacuzzi tub.
Other points included in your stay:
-A refreshing welcome drink
-A Resident´s Bus Pass (must be charged at any Tabaco store, but saves you 50% on city buses)
-Complimentary high-speed internet
-Hairdryer (in the bathroom)
-Complimentary laundry services (only for stays exceeding 7 days)
-Extensive recommendations on sights to see and places to eat
During your stay you will likely find yourself sharing the flat with guests in the other room (a maximum of 2 other people at any time). We have designed and laid out our flat to ensure the comfort and ease of all our guests, so you should find no problem being comfortable during your stay. We are traveling full-time in the US and Latin America so that we can push our boundaries even farther (and see how we can bring our hospitality philosophy to more of the world!). During this time we will be maintaining all email communication with our guests, but you will be greeted for check-in by our amazing cleaner, Marisa. She does not speak English, but is very friendly and looks forward to meeting you. As such, a condition for every guest staying with us is that we need to know your arrival time at least 24hrs in advance so that we can schedule Marisa to meet you - if are unable to provide this information, we are unfortunately not the host for you.
We are available to answer any questions you might have, and sincerely look forward to hearing from you (and later, hearing about the wonderful time you had staying with us)!
We enjoyed our stay and were appreciative of Christina and David's efforts to stay in touch with us(they were out of the country) as we made our way to their place.
we are glad you had a pleasant stay in Seville, we love to welcome guests in our home and to ensure they have a great time, we do hope you enjoyed the recommendations we shared with you and the professional cleaner, having her make sure the experience is completed! you are welcome back home anytime!
Had a great stay at Christina and David's home. They were very helpful with directions and where to go and where the good places to eat were. The room and bed were very comfortable. I only stayed one night but felt very welcomed and it was a great place to explore Seville from. Thanks Christina and David!
That's awesome that you enjoyed our insight on the city - it's just impossible not to share the places we love! We're very happy to hear that you enjoyed the updated decoration in your room, and we would love to welcome you back in Sevilla any time!

Recommanded hosts ! We had pleasant time with Christina and David and they gave us some very good informations for a better journey in Sevilla
Dear Benoit and Nikki,
It was fantastic getting to meet you guys just before we left - we're very glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us! It was funny to hear your thoughts on Paris, and we'll just have to see if you're still there when we move ;-). We wish you guys the very best together.

You should understand before you stay here that you're a decent distance outside of the city walls and into the suburbs. That said, it was not that difficult to get here from the Plaza de Armas bus station, and we walked to the city center and back a few times without too much difficulty. For the price we paid, our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. David and Cristina were very friendly and accepted us at the last minute even though they were renovating. They provided us with a great PDF with everything we needed to know about the city. They also provided a bus pass to get downtown conveniently. You may share the apartment with other airbnb-ers, and in our case they left the bathroom dirty. All things considered we would definitely stay here again.
We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us in Sevilla - we put a lot of love and time into our home and recommendations, and it's always nice to know how our guests appreciate it!
One of the things we wanted to address, though, is that we're very sorry if you were disappointed with the location of our home. It seems as though you might have had some different expectations of Sevilla - this is the third largest city in Spain, and the capital of Andalucia (with a population around 1.5mil people). The neighborhood we live in - La Macarena - is literally centuries old, and is one of the only 3 Historic barrios of Sevilla. This is mentioned pretty openly in our listing, so we're a bit confused as to why you would think you were in the 'suburbs' (which, in fact, don't start for about 30min past our home) - this is why you're able to walk or take a single bus in 10min to the center, instead of needing multiple buses or a car. As for our home itself, we're glad to hear that you enjoyed the facilities we provide, and - though we ask that all our guests keep the common areas clean - we regret that you found the bathroom below your expectations. We would be happy to welcome you back to Sevilla any time you wish to return, and wish you the very best on the upcoming New Year!
David and Cristina
When I travel, I try to be sure that I plan accommodation with hotels or B & Bs where English is spoken, so that my own language shortcomings (in Spanish or German or French) will not lead to misunderstanding.
My first clue that all would not be well with my stay was my needing to call AirBnB the day of my departure because Christina and David had not answered my confirming emails and calling the phone number on their listing got an out-of-service message.
Thanks to the help of Airbnb's support center, Christina called me from Scotland just before I left for my trip to say that she and David were not in Spain, but that her young cousin who spoke some English would be taking care of checking me in and that I should call him on my arrival and gave me his number. I explained that I did not know if I would even have a phone at that point, but perhaps she did not understand what I was saying.
When I arrived in Seville, I bought a Spanish phone and tried calling the number she had given me. All I got was an automated message that I could not understand because the Spanish was so rapid. After two hours of waiting outside their apartment in hopes of the young man's showing up, I walked to a nearby restaurant, where my obviously distraught self resulted in the assistance of the people who worked there. Livia called the cousin's number for me — evidently, I was unnecessarily calling the country code — and after about 20 minutes he showed up.
Christina had warned me that my room would be cold, but that she had extra blankets. She did not warn me that the entire apartment was cold, so enjoying the common areas would not be really possible. In addition, the lighting was so bad in the living room, that I could not read.
When I asked the young man if he could recommend a nearby restaurant where I could eat, he could not, When I asked him about getting places by bus, he didn't know that either. At an internet cafe, I was finally able to email Christina to register my disappointment in the situation. When I got lost trying to get back to the apartment, the kindness of a nearby jewelry store's staff in both calling Christina and walking me to the apartment saved the day. (I did have a map, but in the dark, it was too hard for me to read.)
I did talk to both Christina and David, and they were apologetic for the situation. But by then, I was cold, tired, hungry and generally fed up, and decided to leave a day early.
Perhaps at another time and another season, this BnB would have been ideal, but for me it left a lot to be desired.
We feel that it is very important to clarify the situation with Patricia's reservation, as much of what she has written is either grossly misleading or outright false. Though we typically answer emails within 24hrs, we had been traveling at the time indicated and so it had been 2 days between Patricia's email and her panic. We have never disconnected our phones, so perhaps she had some difficulty with our Spanish phone numbers - in any case, we called her as soon as we heard that she was concerned. At the time, we reminded her that she had booked a room in our flat sharing with another guest (as our listing indicates), not us - she confirmed that she had our detailed arrival guide, and WOULD be buying a Spanish phone upon her arrival (despite OUR insistence that this would probably be unnecessary for her short time in Spain). She stated that she would be arriving at our house at 12:00pm, and we explained that she would meet with Emilio, a cousin who has worked with us regularly. We let her know that he did not speak English, but that she would have all of our recommendations in an extensive document and that we would be entirely available via phone and email - she insisted that she spoke fluent Spanish and so would be perfectly fine. We made sure that she was very aware that for her arrival Emilio had to leave by 2:00pm for classes, and that if she was late that she would have to call him upon her arrival as he would NOT be able to wait past 2:00pm. When she finally called him at 6:00pm he came promptly and got her all settled in. Patricia's claim that we "had warned [her] that [her] room would be cold" is absolutely false - our home is well-insulated and her bed had a thick down comforter and top blanket, so we just wouldn't say this. On this note, we simply informed her that IF she wished, she would find extra blankets on the shelves in front of her room. Her comments about her conversation with Emilio are grossly misstated as it became readily evident that Patricia does not speak Spanish, and Emilio was unable to understand her inquiries (though we had already indicated several restaurants and bus routes in our recommendation guide). As soon as we heard about Patricia's consternation we attempted to reach out to her directly; we tried calling her phone several times, emailed, and even had Emilio go in person to hand her a phone. She refused any and all contact, only to email us finally and state that she had not reviewed ANY of our recommendations (and, as such, had this to say: "Since lunch on the train yesterday, I have eaten a bowl of porridge and a half a tortilla"). In this regard we only hope that she was exaggerating, and did not, in fact, refuse to eat anything during her time in a major city with countless restaurants, markets, and grocery stores. When we were finally able to speak with her on the phone, she stated that she had intentionally kept her phone off and - while refusing any of our attempts to improve her experience - insisted that she would be departing early. At this point we offered her a refund and complimentary ride to the station.
The stay at Christina and David's house was very nice. The house is really neat and clean and we really enjoyed ourselves. The bus stop to the city centre was nearby and it was easy to find. Although Christina and David weren't at home that weekend, they arranged everything just perfect. Thank you very much.
We couldn't meet Cristina & David but their cousin helped us checking in even we were a bit late. We were able to talked over the phone and they seem to be really nice people.
Room looked just same as the picture, clean, neat, everything was in order. Bathroom was very clean too. We could use kitchen which was really nice one.
Location was just right next to the bus station, couldn't find it hard to go to city center, but unfortunately there was a big road construction while we were staying there, always had to walk 2-3 stops to take a bus, but found it finished at the last day. hahaha.
They provided pdf file which explains everything about Sevilla, from city center to neighbors, cafes, tapas places, that was really awesome.
Strongly recommend to anyone who hadn't decide where to stay in Sevilla. Go for it!
Cristina and David were very friendly and helpful, and gave us some great recommendations of where to eat and go, some maps and travel cards. The location was pretty easy to transport by bus to the city and trendy spots. The room was comfy and warm. Cristina and David were in the middle of reorganising the apartment when we stayed, so some facilities like the kitchen & washing machine were unavailable, but it didn't affect our stay. Thanks to Cristina and David we had a great time in Seville!
We enjoyed our stay with Christina and David. They helped us with bus passes and local maps. Great tips on Tapas and local bar to watch dancing. Shared a great meal with our host.
Thanks for the future travel tips
Cheryl and Travis
Although the apartment is 2 bedrooms it only has a small lounge room so when both rooms are rented and Christina and David are there it does feel quite small. But Christina and David do make up for this by being very friendly and welcoming. They provided us with lots of information on where to go and good places to eat. The apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it had a nice modern bathroom with plenty of hot water. Thank you for being excellent hosts.
