Private room in a shared flat
Coming to Sevilla for a few nights? Perhaps a week or two for business? Or how about a long-term student assignment? Why not take advantage of a comfortably furnished bedroom in our lovely flat! With plenty of space for your wardrobe, an abundance of outlets for all of your electronics, and a welcoming atmosphere brought to you by two long-time hotel professionals setting up our home for you, we are certain you will find yourself happily ensconced in comfort during your stay in our home!
Our home is a two-bedroom flat situated within the Macarena district of Sevilla. There is an abundance of parking around the building if you wish to bring your car; otherwise - as we find most guests utilize the excellent city public transportation - we are conveniently located next to a stop with buses every 5-10 minutes that will zoom you straight into the city center within minutes. The flat features a fully-equipped kitchen with all dishware, cookware, and stovetop espresso maker.
The bedroom features a double bed with luxury linens and a plush headboard for your relaxation, a drawer for clothes and open hangers, and a full-length mirror to ensure you're looking good! Toiletries and towels are provided during your stay, for use in our spacious bathroom with combination shower and jacuzzi tub.
Other points included in your stay:
-A refreshing welcome drink
-A Resident´s Bus Pass (must be charged at any Tabaco store, but saves you 50% on city buses)
-Complimentary high-speed internet
-Hairdryer (in the bathroom)
-Complimentary laundry services (only for stays exceeding 7 days)
-Extensive recommendations on sights to see and places to eat
During your stay you will likely find yourself sharing the flat with guests in the other room (a maximum of 2 other people at any time). We have designed and laid out our flat to ensure the comfort and ease of all our guests, so you should find no problem being comfortable during your stay. We are traveling full-time in the US and Latin America so that we can push our boundaries even farther (and see how we can bring our hospitality philosophy to more of the world!). During this time we will be maintaining all email communication with our guests, but you will be greeted for check-in by our amazing cleaner, Marisa. She does not speak English, but is very friendly and looks forward to meeting you. As such, a condition for every guest staying with us is that we need to know your arrival time at least 24hrs in advance so that we can schedule Marisa to meet you - if are unable to provide this information, we are unfortunately not the host for you.
We are available to answer any questions you might have, and sincerely look forward to hearing from you (and later, hearing about the wonderful time you had staying with us)!
By reserving with us you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
We both work full-time, so check-in hours are from 15:00 to 22:00. If you will need to check in after 22:00 or before 15:00, we are unfortunately not the hosts for you. Also, as a condition of reserving with us it is required that you provide us with your arrival time at least 24hrs in advance. If you are unable to provide this information then we are, again, unfortunately not the host for you - if you do not inform us of your arrival time at least 24hrs in advance, we may be forced to cancel your reservation.
Any unannounced arrivals after 22:00 will incur a €25 surcharge due immediately upon arrival.
-You have reserved a Private Room in our flat - this means that the common areas (living room, kitchen, and bathroom) are shared with other guests. As such, we ask each of our guests to keep these areas clean.
-You will have full access to the kitchen facilities, though we ask that all of our guests wash their own dishes.
-Please be mindful of the lights when leaving a room.
-Smoking and drug use is strictly prohibited throughout the entire premises: any violations will be subject to a minimum €100 charge.
Please be mindful of common areas, as well as our neighbors. It is very important to remember that we live here, and in order to maintain good relations with our neighbors we ask that you please not interfere with or bother others in the building.
Please note that this is not intended to inconvenience our guests, but simply to ensure that we provide the same high level of quality and attention to each and every person staying with us.
A recommander !
Cristina and David were great! They gave us heaps of tips on what to do and where to eat in Sevilla. Very pleasant stay!
For the prise it was ok. We were greeted very friendly. Unfortunately it was very cold in the flat (may be an adventge in the summer but as we were there in February we froze in the night). Additionaly it wasn't very clean. Lot of dust especially on the flour. Warm wather was available only for a short time.
We're very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us! There were thick blankets on your bed - and several on the shelves in front of your room - but even still, we would not have recommended that you sleep with the windows open! We were surprised to see that, and we think it may be understandable that the room might get cold at night in that case. We apologize, however, that you were unsatisfied with the cleanliness of the house; we have since begun a progressing process of deep cleaning and maintenance on this property to improve our services. Your difficulties with the hot water confuse us, however - it is an automatic heater, not a tank, so there really should be no limit of hot water...we have not been able to find any problems with the heater that would explain your experience. In any case, we appreciate the feedback of all our guests, and thank you for choosing us for your stay in Sevilla!
David and Cristina
Sevilla is exactly what we were expecting from a " typical Andalusian town " is definitely a " must see" location if you are traveling around Andalusia ! At David's and Christina's you will feel more like a local rather than a guest! They are extremely organized in terms of tourist info as well as local info ( true andalusians places to eat and typical Sevillans places to watch a ( free ) flamenco from Thursday to Sunday ! Their place is a nice and quite apartment not very far from the old town ( 5-6' by bus - bus stop straight next to the house ). We loved Sevilla and of course our stay at David's and Christina's house! Thank you guys !
Vania + Constantinos
Dear Vania and Constantinos,
Man, it was a pleasure hosting you guys! It was great getting to chat with you during your stay, and we're happy to hear how much you enjoyed your time with us :-). Please let us know if you return to Sevilla, as we would love to host you again (and we look forward to taking advantage of your recommendations for Greece!).
David and Cristina
Our stay with David and Cristina was amazing! She greeted us with chocolate cake from her mothers bakery, gave us great suggestions and maps for what to do in the city, and had a great apartment. It was beautiful, clean, and pretty easy to access, even if it wasn't the closest to the "touristy" part of the city. We loved the fact that she gave us a bus card to use, and we definitely needed it.
Thank you for such sweet feedback; it's always nice to hear that our guests enjoy their stay with us! We're happy to hear that you had such a good experience, and we would love to welcome you back to Sevilla any time!
David and Cristina

We are Cristina and David, a couple very much in love with the city of Sevilla! We work as consultants in the hospitality industry, and own a real estate development firm. We love meeting people from around the world, so while we may be busy while you're here, we can't wait to welcome you home!
We have traveled around the world and - like many travelers - our lives have been vastly enriched by these experiences, and we've left little pieces of our hearts in many places. We make a lifestyle of the 'share economy' that Airbnb has been a blazing pioneer in popularizing, and so are very open to creative arrangements and exchanges between hosts!
We have several properties in Sevilla, and both of us work full-time. We maintain all communication with our guests, but when you arrive, however, you may meet with our cleaner who will show you your room and give you your keys. She very much enjoys meeting our guests, but she does not speak English so please be patient.
