Amazing location! 7 Eleven is right downstairs, there are Supermarkets across the street, Mcdonalds is a block away, all sort of cafes, restaurants, Banks, Antique shops, art galleries and Dim Sum places in the neighborhood. It's a 2 minute walk to the MTR (subway station) and buses and trams all around. It is also in the heart of the foreign friendly district with amazing culture and temples and beautiful parks. It's a 5 minute walk from Lan Kwai Fong, and walking distance to the Macau Ferry Piers. There is an elevator in the building. Most importantly though, the apartment is huge. Full Kitchen with microwave oven Gas cooker, refrigerator. Full bathroom with shower. 2 huge bedrooms each with Queen sized beds, 2 big pullout sofa beds in the Living room, One Double and one Single. Also 2 large comfortable Couches and a big flat screen TV with cable TV and Wireless Internet.
**In the past I have borrowed out adapters for FREE to guests as a courtesy and convenience, however, too many have not been returned (over 50) and I can no longer keep up with restocking. Unfortunately, I can't provide these for free but if necessary, will sell them AT COST (@HKD20) instead. Sorry that this gesture failed.
We had a wonderful stay in Brendan's flat having being met by his lovely mom Veronica. No delay, which was appreciated after a long flight.
Veronica looked after us very well and showed us the flat making sure that everything we needed was provided.
Struck some COLD weather but kept cosy with ample heaters. Having lived in HK for many years myself, appreciated the great location and unlimited choices for good restaurants, supermarkets and galleries. And let's not forget to mention the great shopping -
Just as well suitcases are easily purchased !
Easy transport all around making it a very convenient location for all interests.
All in all a great experience and will not hesitate to stay again in Brendan's flat and recommend to anybody.

A great place to stay and a very convenient location. The flat is spacious for our family of 4 by Hong Kong standard. There are actually 2 power adaptors provided in the flat even though Brenda said on the webpage he stopped loaning out power adaptors. The washing machine and dryer are a plus. We did not get to meet Brendan but Brendan's mum was very helpful in providing us with an extra blanket promptly. I have already recommended it to my friends who are planning to visit Hong Kong.
The apartment looks better in the pictures than how it is in reality. While it isn't too bad, and has all the basic amenities as promised, just don't expect it to look like a nice hotel room as shown in the pictures.
Let's start off with the good points about the apartment. As mentioned, the amenities provided are decent. The wifi is pretty fast, the water heater works well enough as long as you don't take too long, there is a good working water kettle, and there is even a washing machine for long stays (though I didn't get to try it out). The apartment is generally clean and does provide you with towels, shampoo, and soap, which is nice. Do remember to bring your own toothbrushes and toothpaste though! There is a air heater in one of the bedrooms, which is great especially since it was pretty cold in HK when I went. Curiously though, the other bedroom has a air cooler instead, and it served no purpose in the cold weather, so it was left untouched. Also, the beds are fairly comfortable, though not fantastic.
Now for not so good aspects about the apartment. First off, the TV. So this may not be a huge issue for everyone since most people who stay in the apartment are probably in HK to travel, not watch television. But it is a little annoying that there aren't any proper HK channels at all! The only channel that really works is one that keeps replaying movie trailers.. I find it a little odd to have a TV that doesn't provide much in terms of entertainment. Next, if there are 4 people lining up to take a shower.. the water will start turning cold by the third person. The only way around this is to wait about 15-20mins for the water to heat up again. Again, not a major dealbreaker.. but it can be annoying when you are trying to quickly take a hot shower so that you can sleep. Oh, and you do have to wait for 15-20mins for the water to heat up when you first turn it on.
The nearest MTR station is at Sheung Wan, and it actually does require a fair bit of walking(7-10mins).. so it may not be as convenient a location as you might think. The good thing is there are 24/7 convenient stores very nearby in case you are feeling peckish at night.
Overall, though the apartment isn't bad, I am sure you can do better with the money paid for this apartment. A decent hotel would only cost a little more. This isn't a place that I would stay in next time I am in HK!
The unit is exactly as described. Brendan even provided us with two adapters for free though he said he will no longer be doing so on his listing. Washer and dryer in unit a great plus. Thanks.
We have rented many apartments around the world and this was by far our best experience. We called Brendan when we arrived in Hong Kong and he had someone meet us within minutes to let us in. Everything was clean and exactly as presented on the site. I would recommend staying at any of Brendan's properties!
The flat was very clean, tidy, and me and my family were feeling so comfortable especially after one tiring day going around Hong Kong. There was a convenient store right under the flat so we could get water and snacks easily.MTR wasn't so far and on the way to MTR by walk, there was a cafe which sells various choices of breakfast but i forget the name.we were satisfied staying in brendan's flat.
Apartment exactly as seen in photos. Spacious for our family with 2 kids.
Get to enjoy living in a typical apartment in Hong Kong (with the old tiny lift and a security guard on duty during the day).
Walking distance (< 5mins) to great eating places like Sang Kee Congee, For Kee Restaurant etc. Amenities nearby include supermarket, convenience stores, coffee places, bakery. Short walk to tram stop or Sheung Wan MTR.
Despite apartment being on the 7th floor, one can still hear the pedestrian crossing beeping at night. Good thing it stop 'beeping/making noise' after 11pm or midnight.
Overall, great stay. Highly recommend for all.
The flat was very clean, tidy, me and my friends were feeling so happy and comfortable. The WiFi is free so it is very easily to contact with family and find good restaurant around here. Although the stair and elevator rather narrow and old but it is OK.There was a convenient store right under the flat and seven eleven store so we could get water and snacks easily.MTR wasn't so far and on the way to MTR by walk. Thank you very much Brendan Veronica and your helper for quick response and you are so friendly and good facilitate I also translate for Thai people who interested in this room too.
The location was good with a 5 minute walk to Sheung Wan MTR. The apartment looks almost exactly like those in the pictures but could be a little small for a group larger than 4 once the sofa beds are opened. All the facilities listed were available and in working condition. Overall a decent stay.
The apartment is like what the other guests has described, spacious, clean and neat. Convenient location. Brendan's team is fast and efficient. Thumbs up!
