French doors in the living room open to a secluded patio with table for 2; elevated efficiency kitchenette (not a full kitchen) overlooks the living room and patio; Faux walls create a European feel throughout the unit. Hardwood floors in the living room and bedroom; bathroom with full tub, is tiled and windows open to the bedroom, letting in light and garden views; queen bed in the bedroom with large armoire. Sofa in the living room turns into a bed for additional guests. This unique garden apartment is a wonderful place to stay. Located 1 block from the J Church Line and 6 blocks from the 24th Street BART, it is easy to access downtown; all the 24th Street, Mission Street and Valencia Street shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. Utility charges in excess of $100 shared by guest for stays over 30 nights. No smoking. No pets.

To complete your reservation once accepted through Airbnb you will receive a DocuSign link to a secure online rental agreement that must be completed, SIGNED and returned.

Interaction with Guests
The owners live in the main house and are available to assist on arrival or during your stay, but the unit has a private entrance and you will be given entry codes so you may come and go as you please.
Noe Valley is in the geographic center of the city, between Diamond Heights and Twin Peaks on the west and the Mission District on the East. Noe Valley has many good restaurants and shops on Church and 24th street. Mission Street area and the Castro are both a moderate walk away and offers a variety of restaurants, bars, shops, and interesting walks.
We are probably 10 minutes from the Opera house and symphony hall and the Civic Center by car or take the J-Church streetcar.
The J-Church streetcar stop is a about a block away, and travel time to downtown is around a 1/2 hour to the end of Market (the Embarcadero). The 24th Street BART station is about a 15-20 min walk.

Our experience here was wonderful. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished, tranquil and spacious. The large windows permit plenty of light during the day and there are stacks of utensils and appliances, all in excellent working condition. Overall the place is extremely well kept and I think this is down in a large part to the care and attention of Geoff and Jana, the owners. They're a lovely couple, friendly without being overbearing, and whenever we had a small request or query they were always very quick to respond. You simply couldn't ask for nicer hosts. The apartment looks onto a stunning garden which is lovely to relax in on a warm afternoon. Noe Valley itself is adorable, with the cutest range of shops, restaurants and bars you could hope for. It's a two-minute walk to the Muni 'J' line which takes maybe 15 minutes to shuttle you into downtown Powell if that's your thing. We also really enjoyed the fact that the Mission district is super-close, as well as some spectacular views across the city from Mission Dolores and Corona Heights parks. Last but not least, make sure you visit the Three Twins ice creamery!

A most wonderful living experience in the heart of Noe Valley. We could not have wished for a nicer place or more gracious and helpful hosts.
It is just as good as the photos. The hosts live upstairs and are very helpful. There is a beautiful garden in the backyard where you can relax. The location is within walking distance of Noe Valley, the Mission, and public transit. I came back on a second trip, so I certainly recommend it.
Through our e-mail conversation Annette understod what we were looking for. Still, most of things were even better. It is not easy to come to a place you have not been to before. People asked us how we managed to find the right place in the right area. Our answer was: Annette helped us

This was the perfect place and location for our visit to San Francisco. Being in the Noe Valley/Mission area was convenient and offered many small restaurants and access public transportation. It was a great place to launch a search for an apartment for our daughter. Canto Uccello is beautiful, well appointed and best of all, has great hosts. We really enjoyed the peaceful retreat and lovely patio/garden created by them. And enjoyed trading stories. I would highly recommend Canto Uccello and will return to use it again myself.
I stayed in this beautiful apartment for 5 nights. I don't even know where to start the praise. Annette has been extremely helpful from start to finish with regards to directions etc. But here are the 2 most important attributes of this place. 1)LOCATION!!! It's in the fringes of Noe Valley and Castro and the street is a very quaint quiet street with lots of amenities just a stone throw (restaurants, breakfast bars, whole foods market). 2) The apartment it self is absolutely stunning! The photos don't do it justice! 3) The landlords that live upstairs are just the friendliest and most discreet people you will ever meet! They have made this apartment with love and its obvious! The garden at the back is just like a little heaven in the heart of San Fran. I wanted to stay for longer on this property but unfortunately it was booked out. I'm staying in the area so I'm definitely going to keep in touch with the landlords even for a cup of coffee. Thats how friendly they are. Absolutely amazing experience and i consider my self very lucky since this was my first San Fran pad. 5 star property, 5 star location, 5 star landlords! Stop looking around cause you found your place!
