Robert and Paola were very kind hosts. From the beginning of our trip to London they were welcoming and gracious. They very kindly invited us up to have a Christmas drink with them and their extended family in Christmas Eve. The flat was spacious and warm particularly during the wet London winter. Thank you Robert and Paola for a fantastic stay!
I can only confirm in full my review from last time: nice location, very nice hosts and lovely apartment.Highly recommended.
Perfect location for two people. Paola and Robert are very kind and cooperative. The apartment is wide and extremely clean (bed linen very good shented), warm and fully equipped with all you need for some days of holiday. The connections with the city center are frequent, bus stops and train station are very close to the location. Suggested and suggested
The apartment is really beautiful, exactly like pictures and Camberwell too.
Robert is a very nice person and a great host, anything we asked for was provided straight away.
We loved our stay in this house.
This is a very convenient, compact apartment, situated near supermarket, restaurants and transport. The apartment has great lighting, great bedside light for reading, everything is as described. Robert and Paola are great hosts, with instant reply to queries, and great knowledge of facilities within the area, as well as great general knowledge. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend.
We were lucky to live in this appartment for a few days. It's well located: you can pretty much go everywhere by bus. It was also cosy and clean. We enjoy our time there and recommend this appartment to everyone as well.
We had an absolutely fabulous time staying at Robert's flat. The apartment was clean and as described. Robert was kind enough to introduce himself when we got there and recommend some truly great pubs and restaurants in the area. The lovely guide he provided us made traveling around the city an absolutely breeze. Not only will we recommend to anyone who asks, but we plan to book this flat for all of our future visits!
We missed Roberts apartment.
Hubby loves it so much.
With washing machine provided its really helped us alot.
The apartment is exactly look like the photo shown.
It's in the basement.
the only cons is the shower area is pretty small for a huge guy like my hubby. He knocked his head few time. LoL. As we don't use to use the bath tub.
Overall a good experience !!
We had a great stay in Robert's Apartment. He helped us a lot with booking a cab for the transport from airport to the apartment. For our next stay we'll book Robert again :) Thanks also to his wife Paola.
Robert helped us squeeze in as much as possible by giving us lots of ideas, directions, advice and our own personal tour of the area. We were also helped by the location of the apartment in gorgeous Camberwell (at the end of the ultraromantic Love Way). It's perfectly positioned on what seems like several thousand bus routes - and just half an hour from the centre of London which meant we weren't tempted to pop home for a mid-afternoon rest. That suited us well - and we also discovered we preferred the bus to the Tube because you can see more of London. You will learn to love both the number 12 bus and your Oyster card (if you are tempted to go the Fat Duck, you need to buy another ticket. Oysters don't go past West Drayton and you may not be so fortunate as to get our particular forgiving Maidenhead inspector).
The apartment is perfect - exceptionally clean, cosy, EXCELLENT bed (and my husband is the world's fussiest when it comes to mattresses). Kitchen with everything you need (since you aren't cooking when you come to London, what would be the point?) and more. Washing machine and dryer (can be useful in the predictable English rain). On top of that, just three minutes from your door is the splendid Crooked Well (acknowledged in the Michelin Guide) where you can eat rabbit pie and snuggle on the couch. Round the corner are at least another six good places to eat and a little Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings.
I'd also like to say that Robert's written notes for the apartment are top notch. We've had AirBNB notes which have been acceptable but these are highly informative and very accurate. Plus maps!
I knew Robert before he had his AirBNB and I had not one inkling he was so hospitable. The man should be duplicated across the world.
