Fantastic apartment in great location. Robert goes out of his way to make guests welcome. The information he provides is invaluable for any visit to London. Have already recommended his place to friends and it will again be my first choice for accommodation my next visit to London
Loved it! Definitely interested in staying again. Fresh, clean, everything we needed. Robert was perfect host, responsive to needs, too, great directions. Love the area...nearby tube station but mainly we used all the many bus options to see the most of central London. Tons of restaurant/pub/other business options super close by, even a great park our kids loved. We were out and about with kids as early as 7 and as late as 10 and always felt comfortable in this friendly neighborhood. Everyone had a smile for us.
I really loved staying at this place. It was perfect for myself. The neighborhood was also very nice! I would definitely stay there again!
We had a fantastic week at Robert's apartment. He provided an excellent guidebook of information. We mainly used the terrific bus system for getting around - so many choices within a couple of minutes walk. Morrison's supermarket is also nearby & closest pub is less than a minute from the apartment. The kitchen has everything you need to make a quick meal & such a bonus to have a washer/dryer as well. A great first airbnb experience. Thanks!
calme, clair, grand pour 2 personnes, avec de la documentation sur Londres
The apartment was amazing! It was easy to get to and from everything we wanted to see in our brief stay in London. Robert was a great host and gave useful suggestions, like bus routes and places for drinks or dinner. We had a great experience and the apartment was exactly what we needed.
Beautiful apartment with the most welcoming host, Robert came down and met us on our first day in town and was more than happy to help us out with transport and local restaurants/shops. The apartment is very close to Camberwell Main St and all bus stops that lead to the inner city. The town is a wonderful family area, could not have picked a better location.

About the Host, Robert
I am a journalist and author, raised in Australia but living in London. I grew up on the surfing beaches of south-west Western Australia and spent almost 20 years living in Sydney before moving to the UK three years ago.
My wife, Paola, and I are both journalists for a metropolitan daily newspaper. I have also written and published five non-fiction books. We live upstairs. Even though the apartment has a separate entry, it is part of our home which is a lovely Georgian terrace dating back to around 1790.
We love travelling ourselves and have a sense of what our guests need - a combination of comfort and information but also the space to explore one of the world's great cities. As your hosts, we are happy to help.
