Can't say enough good things about this great flat - very comfortable, fully equipped, great for sleeping and with a lovely living space. Using the train into central London is highly recommended - no stopping to Victoria & only 1 to Blackfriars - super easy. A great short stay!
This was a great apartment and city to stay in as a tourist! Robert shared a lot of helpful information about getting around the city and made sure we we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. He even recommended a lot of local spots. My friend and I went to several of them for food and drinks and had good experiences at all of them!
Robert's flat is a great base for a couple when visiting London & has good facilities as described in the listing. Camberwell is a vibrant area with good transport links to central London. There are plenty of nice places to eat & drink close by and in the surrounding area. We did not meet Robert as he was away but met his wife who was very helpful. A great Airbnb!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Robert's apartment. It was very easy to find and the closeness to train and bus made our stay easy to get around. The apartment was as described in the pictures and text. We would recommend this place as a "must stay" in future. Lynette & Glenda

About the Host, Robert
I am a journalist and author, raised in Australia but living in London. I grew up on the surfing beaches of south-west Western Australia and spent almost 20 years living in Sydney before moving to the UK three years ago.
My wife, Paola, and I are both journalists for a metropolitan daily newspaper. I have also written and published five non-fiction books. We live upstairs. Even though the apartment has a separate entry, it is part of our home which is a lovely Georgian terrace dating back to around 1790.
We love travelling ourselves and have a sense of what our guests need - a combination of comfort and information but also the space to explore one of the world's great cities. As your hosts, we are happy to help.
