The Space

Stay in my amazing designer warehouse conversion recently featured in the LA Times along with a host of other design magazines and winner of a Melbourne Design award for interior design!!

My beautiful apartment is right in the heart of Melbourne's vibrant restaurant, bar and art gallery district. It's literally on one of Melbourne's famous lane ways - Flinders Lane - yet it is in a wonderful quiet and safe pocket where you can relax and take in all that Melbourne has to offer.

Situated in what’s affectionately known as the ‘Paris End’ of Melbourne’s charismatic CBD, this large 1 bedroom warehouse conversion is the perfect place to come back to after a day of exploring the wonders of Melbourne. At the top end of Flinders Lane it’s near beautiful parklands and the funky suburbs of Fitzroy, Carlton and Collingwood.

Located at the back of a 1940s converted warehouse, it faces onto a quiet laneway so you will be sure to get a good night’s rest with some peace and quiet. As you can see from the photos it’s very spacious (65sqm) and has 4.2m high ceilings and 2.5m high windows (that open up to let a beautiful breeze through). There is a separate bedroom with comfy queen bed. The apartment is suitable for 1-2 people, I do have an extra single futon bed which I am happy to set up in the lounge room for a 3rd person - please contact me first though.

The apartment is spacious and relaxed with all that you will need for a fabulous stay. It’s really close to trams and trains and the share bike scheme recently introduced to Melbourne. You can also walk anywhere in the city as it’s very centrally located. You can also hire one of several GoGet cars from round the apartment to save on car hire. I provide MyKi cards for use on trams and trains and can also arrange bike hire for a small extra fee (please contact me about this).

The apartment has unlimited wifi and internal laundry (washing machine and dryer) that you can use during your stay. The open plan kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, espresso machine, chef quality Miele induction cooktop and high quality cookware (I love to cook!). A bottle of wine will be awaiting your arrival and I pride myself on providing expert local advice on the best places to eat, drink and explore! Ask my anything - I'm here to help you have an amazing time in one of my favourite cities in the world!

The queen size bedroom includes storage / hanging facilities. And of course fresh linen and towels are provided as well!

There is a 32inch TV and DVD player is located in the lounge room with HDMI cable for streaming movies ect.

The apartment is New York style open plan with a very cool designer rotating library dividing the spaces: it’s not a share place, you get the entire apartment to yourself! You can select from a meet and great or we can arrange a self checkin if that works better for your arrival times.

I have prepared an extensive guide book of all the best food, coffee and drinks places close by so you get a locals recommendations on the cool Melbourne foodie scene. I'm also happy to answer any questions you have about things to see do etc - (check out my airbnb guidebook too)!

The price listed is for one person per night; if you want to stay as a couple then it will be $25 extra per person per night.

Please note that there is a minimum stay of 2 nights on Friday and Saturdays unless there are other bookings on either side. Please contact me first if you want to book for just one night to confirm that it’s OK.

Guest Access

The entire apartment is yours! We arrange the keys to be in a lockbox and provide you with all the access information before your stay so you can let yourself in whatever time you arrive!

Interaction with Guests

We are quick to respond to any of your questions and have developed an extensive local secrets guide to all the best places to eat and enjoy. I have a property manager who is on call 24/7 to help out if you need it, but otherwise we leave you to enjoy your stay.

The Neighborhood

Melbourne City is amazingly eclectic and vibrant. The apartment is located on the very cool 'Flinders Lane' in the Paris end of town. Its right next to some of Melbourne's best and hippest restaurants and bars!

Getting Around

You will be walking distance to everything in town and there are a number of trams and trains to take you anywhere else outside of the city.

Obviously I would expect you to be respectful of my place and stuff and understand that it’s my home so I’m not really into you bring anyone else home (other than the people that have booked in).

Please be respectful of my neighbors and under no circumstances give the security pass code for the building out to other people.

Please leave the place in the same condition that you found it :)
