Noura and her team offer a warm welcome for your stay at the Riad situated behind the ramparts of the old town, the Medina of Marrakech.
Since its building in the 16th century until its acquisition, our large Riad belonged to the local chief (le caïd). We restored it respecting traditional building rules. It took 5 years to conduct the total restoration which it ended on september 2012. We kept and renovated most of the original marrocan decorations which are still today a veritable beauty. We also installed all the modern comforts, water, heating, air conditioning, bathrooms and toilets in each bedroom.
Located just steps from the Jemaa El Fna Square, with seven bedrooms, a large patio, three lounges, a kitchen, a large terrace with a lounge corner and a refresh basin, it can accommodate up easily to fifteen guests. The booking price includes the breakfast.
Meals can be ordered in the morning for evening, served in a friendly atmosphere in two of the three lounges of patio or on the terrace.
It is also possible to rent the entire house for a stay with family or friends, as during Christmas or for a birthday.
All interests are close to the Riad, Jemaa el Fna Square, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian palace, garden Adgal, Gueliz market, souk Beldi, Majorelle Garden, art galleries, restaurants high class or popular, nightclub, aquatic parc with a access shuttle services for free, ...
We can arrange excursions and sightseeing tours. If you have time, we highly recommand a one day trip to Essaouira, a lovely little west atlantic coast town which absolutely has to be seen. We also highly recommand a two days trip in the sahara desert around Zagora with one night in bivouac.
About web, there are many Internet Cafes nearby, called "cyber-café" in Marocco.
Come experience the enchanting marrocan atmosphere, mysterious, with a thousand colors.

Initially, me&my girlfriend saw the photos on the website and the riad seemed really nice and cozy, but our expectations were completely disappointed by the terrible conditions of the room. The first impression was negative, on the way to the riad I called and the guy on the phone treated me really bad, he only spoke french -no english (I find this incredible as we are foreigners and we don't speak french we can only speak english) and he was rude because I couldn't understand his french! Therefore, I tried to call Noura on her mobile-twice- but she didn't reply!! Once arrived, the room was cold, uncleaned, had essential furniture and the door/window had big drafts which let passed the cold air from the roof top where our room was located (probably more enjoyable in the summer then in the winter). The bathroom was worse than the room as it was colder, the toilet flush didn't work properly and there wasn't enough soap for both of us to shower. The riad is situated near a mosquee so early in the morning-around 6am- you can clearly hear the muezzin's prayers. The breakfast was nothing special, we had cold american pancakes with terrible cold coffee. The day before the departure, we've been waken up at 7am because the lady had misunderstood our french communication without checking our departure schedule that any riad should have in their documentation. The last day (after we communicated to the guy of the riad our departure) we found the door completely locked without no keys so we had to wake up someone to let us leave! We were very disappointed by this bad experience and we don't recommend this riad to anyone.
I am completely sorry for your bad feelings about your stay at Riad. I was not there during your stay since I accompanied guests in the Sahara desert. I understand that not everything is perfect in my Riad, but then to describe an Apocalypse! My phone is always on, and if I did not receive your calls, it is without doubt that I could not capture. Besides, you have left me no message so that I can reframe things. That said, I hear your higher demand. I agree when you say that my staff do not fully mastered the languages. For the rest, I leave to the hundreds of guests who came to my house to assess the relevance of your comment. I understand that you are dissatisfied on what you lived.
Stunning Riad with the loveliest, caring staff; our breakfasts were beautifully prepared with much love! Despite the language barrier from both ends, it was very sweet trying to communicate and getting to know both Amina and Karim as they were both warm and had great senses of humor. We stayed in one of the rooftop rooms which could be extremely cold in the evening; perhaps request a specific room prior to arrival as we expected the Air bnb listing with the room number to correspond with the room we reserved. Other than that, we had such a great stay and hope to return soon!
