The summer 2020 is uniqe and. Normaly: The house main goal are to give artist the working studio. We want to give other the possibility to visit this peaceful village and the forest (the studio are for artist only) Please note that there can be other gest in the house at the same time. We are not a private home.
The space
The house is not a private residence so there might be artists working there and other people staying there, which is perfect for you if you enjoy company and meeting new friends.
The house is with thought of the environment, all the rooms are cozy and nicely decorated and furnished. Most of the furniture have been donated to us, so everything have a soul and the old fashion look in some of it gives the rooms a nice and warm feeling.

(2020 is different, please contakt us if you find things unkleaer on our pages) Due to a difficult situation we are for the time being having difficulties financing the house, we are therefore opening up the house for other people who would like to enjoy the nature and life at the “countryside" when the house isn't full of artists. We'll give you a chance to rent a room and use all the facilities excepts for the atelier/studio.

The house is located between the city Kongsvinger and Sweden, so it's perfect if you want both peace, quiet and some city action! The house is great for families, there are lots of things to do and as I mentioned earlier you could take you kids both hiking and shopping, you can make your own meals together or eat at a restaurant in Kongsvinger or Charlottenberg.
The walls are a bit thin so think about the once you are sharing the house with, headphones are great! There are heating in the house, a lovely kitchen, bathrooms, a washing machine, WiFi and many other things!

My work: Artist / Founder
Lives in Austmarka, Norway
On a daily basis, I live in Kongsvinger, but work a lot in the studio which is why this house is built up. Throughout the year seek, or are invited, artists to live and work here into common projects or individually.
I have my own small apartment, with own entrance, if I am here at the same time with rental to non-artists. Projects can force work in the studio. It is a unit, but I am most often in my own residence then. This is clarified in advance.
The studio is only exceptionally available to Airbnb. The house/studio is not made for children, holidays and free play. The house is characterized by being a workshop, for professional artists, and occasionally meetings and classes can be arranged. It is artists' workspace and neither a home nor a holiday home, boarding house.
Building priorities are not than average rental unit, and it is a sober standard - living clean. I have a poodle, but there is no opportunity to bring my own pet. Non smoker.
