Neighborhood: COLE VALLEY This is one of the most exclusive areas in the city. Within walking distance are the Haight- Ashbury neighborhood and Golden Gate Park. The neighborhood is very safe and located steps away from many restaurants and shops. Close enough to feel the turbulence from Haight Street lap at its doorstep, but far enough away to close the shutters and retreat into Victorian charm. The Sunset Tunnel, used by the N-Judah Muni Line, was opened in 1928. Cole Valley began to grow around the train stop at the intersection of Carl and Cole.
Car is not necessary as there is easy and very convenient public transportation right on the street. There is no parking in the building. You can park on the street for free but it is limited to two hours during the day and unlimited during the night (the 2 hour parking starts from 8am to 5pm). Or you can use one of the several parking garages located around the unit:
Public Garages: UCSF Parking garage at 350 Parnassus Av. or the ABC Parking at 801 Stanyan St.
You will have access to the entire property.
I'm here in San Francisco, just let me know if you need anything.

It was a wonderful stay - thank you very much dear Bernat for this nice place we enjoyed it really !!! We had so much space in an comfortable environment - the noise of the street in front of the house was no problem - we were so tired in the evening from our excursions of the day that we slept wonderful. And it was great to be so near to everything. Many thanks Barbara
The flat is in a great location, right next to GG Park and on the N-Judah line, with a view of downtown and the Sutro Tower. Bernat was very responsive and everything was in order when we arrived.
7 of us enjoyed a great 5 days in this flat right by the tram line in a peaceful area very close to golden gate park and cole valley (good for brunch and a drink!). Charming, very clean apartment with all the useful amenities and use of a shared garden which was always empty for us to use! (down a lot of stairs though so difficult to have a meal in)
The host was very nice and straight forward to deal with, answering all my queries very promptly. We very much enjoyed our stay!
Set up more like a professional hostel rather than staying in someone's house like other airbnbs I have used. Which was fine for our needs but you don't get the normal local knowledge that often come from meeting your hosts.
We had a wonderful time at Bernat's! We were a group of 2 couples and 2 singles -- it was perfect. The location is perfect, the house was clean and all communications went smoothly.
We had a great stay at Bernat's place in San Francisco. The communication prior to our stay was very good.
The house is very nice, with all the amenities and in a very interesting location. There are lots of restaurants and coffee ships near by.
We had a small problem with the heat it was resolved very quickly. Given the opportunity, we would stay here again.
My family had a wonderful time staying at this flat! We had a mini family reunion: my 82 years young parents, myself, my three children ages 22, 19 and 10. We loved the location (2 blocks from GGPark, 2 blocks from Haight street and Cole Valley inbetween. The girls and I shopped on Haight St., my son and I rode our bikes in the park, the whole family went to the Academy of Sciences and the De Young. Dinner at the Beach Chalet, home cooked dinner in the excellent kitchen. The flat was very clean, plenty of reading lights (which I really appreciate), comfortable living room furniture, very nice decorating. My only request is that the mattresses should be upgraded. We even had room for our two bikes in the entry way. We will definitely be back.
The apartment was definitely spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. I did feel a little let down by the fact that the apartment is not the host's residence at all and is actually a rental property. I was really interested in the concept of airbnb and how the dynamic of utilizing someone's space would really be. I guess if you're aware of that going in, then the stay is great. Also, the apartment is right on a light rail route and it is a surprising loud noise that occurs pretty frequently.
