This is a beautiful area along the Delaware River and a perfect destination to get away for a few days and rejuvenate in the splendor of a natural setting.
What a delightful weekend we spent with Christal and Jack in their warm and inviting house. They were so easy to talk to and had lots of helpful suggestions about things to do. Their healthy way of eating made a big impression, too. The bedroom was very comfortable and quiet. I loved their animals - in particular, Faye, their dog was very willing to indulge me with a healthy dose of "pet therapy." We plan on returning in the spring to watch the birds enjoying the mulberries in the frontyard trees.
We could not have asked for more during our stay. Christabel and Jack were such kind people and made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We were hoping for our trip to fulfill our desire for a getaway from busy city life and Christabel and Jack's openness and kindness made that possible for us. From the moment we walked in, C & J were not only warm, but also fun to talk to and share stories with. They also provided us with lovely accommodations (comfortable bed, substantial breakfast, and even prepared a fire for us for when we got back from dinner!) We give our highest recommendation to Christabel and Jack!!!
I want to extend a hearty thanks to our hosts, Christabel and Jack, for opening up their warm and wonderful home to us. We decided to visit over Valentine’s Day weekend, and despite a cold spell we greatly enjoyed our stay - our only regret was that it was too brief. We were welcomed by a lovely family and endearing pets. Our room was charming and our bed comfortable. Our gracious and friendly hosts were a pleasure to talk to and provided us ample company as well as privacy. We hope to return again soon!
We had a wonderful stay with Christabel & Jack! They are charming hosts and their home is comfortable and very relaxing. We look forward to staying with them again!
Christabel and Jack and welcoming and warm hosts. Their home is in an ideal nature setting up an a hill surrounded by fields and is very cozy. The private room is large and cheerful and extremely comfortable! I had a great night's sleep and they went overboard to make me a lovely breakfast. If I need to be back in Lambertville, I will contact them first.
What an absolute delight it was to stay in this lovely, inviting farmhouse. Christabel and Jack were wonderful hosts and made me feel right at home. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. My only regret is that I couldn't spend more time with them! I do hope I can make a return visit to,the area and will definitely stay longer next time!!
Absolutely lovely people. They were very accommodating. The house and property is beautiful, and the room is very cozy. We had a great stay here.
Jack and Chris are 5 STAR gracious hosts in a most delightful farmhouse setting! Looking forward to repeat visits.
Christable and Jack were great hosts...super friendly and interesting people...they provided a breakfast, tourism booklet for New Hope and Lambertville, great recommendations for eating out and a coupon for a really good restaurant...also very helpful with directions to attractions...I would def stay again
I had a fantastic stay in this charming house with wonderful hosts!
