My friends and I stayed at Diane's place for the weekend and had an amazing time. The place was clean and cozy. Close to the beach and other attractions. Although we didn't get to meet Diane, we were able to communicate easily throughout the stay. Diane also left us some delicious cookies and a wine bottle. Would recommend this for a small group.
Diane was very easy and pleasant to communicate with. She even stopped by to introduce herself and to see if needed anything. Diane left us some home baked treats and a bottle of wine, which was very sweet. The Beach Bungalow is decorated with a cozy Shabby Chic flair. It fit our family of four very comfortably. We enjoyed the sunny backyard in the afternoon reading in the lounge chairs. The location of the house is wonderful for strolling into the cute downtown, over a hanging bridge. There is a great meat store with the famous tri tip sandwiches, as well as wine tasting places and nice restaurants. We also enjoyed a morning at Avila Beach. Overall a great weekend getaway!
We had an amazing long weekend in the beach bungalow! The house is super cute and has everything you would need. It's centrally located for all of the central coast exploring you might want to do. Diane was a superb host - all the way down to some delish homemade cookies!
My friends and I had a lovely wine tasting weekend stay at Diane's beach bungalow. The Arroyo Grande village was just a hop, skip, and a jump away and communicating with Diane was very easy. The house was clean, comfortable and Diane was kind enough to leave us some home made treats and wine when we arrived. I would recommend this location for a small family or group of friends getting together.
We arrived on Christmas Eve and the kids were so happy to see some Christmas decorations which made it feel more like Christmas. Diane had also left a basket of goodies on the table for us. We really enjoyed our stay, the house is lovely and the yard was fantastic for the kids. Diane came over to introduce herself and to make sure we had everything we needed but apart from that she left us to our own devices. We definitely recommend staying here and if we come back to the area we would definitely want to stay here again.
The house was exactly as it was described and it was even larger than anticipated! It is a cozy clean adorable home and perfect for spending time to relax. We were close to the village and could walk everywhere. Diane was communicative and even left a bottle of wine and cake. Thank you for making it an enjoyable stay for my family and I. We would definitely return.
We had a lovely stay in the beautiful town of arroyo grande. The house is decorated nicely and we felt inspired and privileged to be there.
Diane is an absolutely wonderful host. We had homemade cookies, fresh picked apples and a bottle of wine upon our arrival. The house is BEAUTIFUL and will definitely rent again if I am in the area. Such a homey/relaxing home with rustic and country decor that looks like an Anthropologie room (my favorite store btw) :)
Perfect location. We explored the whole area, SLO, up to Hearst Castle, Morro Bay, and the beach towns on the coast all weekend and was so perfect.
Diane was so so patient and sweet dealing with me for the weekend and afterwards for the cleaning fee. Great woman and AMAZING house. Wonderful wonderful experience!!
Thank you again Diane!!!
Diane was great and very accommodating. I somehow got the dates wrong by a day early and didn't realize it until the day after we were supposed to check-in. Diane had no issues moving things around to make it work for us. When we got there, she had left a nice bottle of wine for us to enjoy while staying in the cozy bungalow. The house has plenty of space for four people and stays quite warm with the floor furnace. So much charm oozes out of the place and location it's hard to describe. It's like seeing the great wonders of the world in person because the pictures you've been looking at don't quite do it justice.
Diane's place is an older two-bedroom cottage. Though tattered a bit around the edges, it has rustic charm. Upon my arrival, Diane had left a welcome basket on the table with fresh fruit from her garden, some homemade sweet bread, and a bottle of local wine -- a very nice touch! There were some cleanliness issues with the cottage. When I pointed these out to Diane, she immediately offered to clean the cottage. I declined because I did not want to be disturbed during my stay. I am sure she will correct these issues for the next guest. The next morning, Diane dropped off some kitchen items I requested -- and more of her yummy sweetbread. I was here with my dog, and the cottage has a large fenced-in backyard, which is perfect for a dog. The cottage is adjacent to Heritage Park and the famous Hanging Bridge, and is in the ideal location for exploring the charming downtown area, called The Village.
