Welcome to our unique dome house nestled in the scenic town of Midpines, California! Just a breathtaking 45-min drive to the Arch Rock Entrance of the iconic Yosemite National Park. Our dome house is truly one-of-a-kind, offering a memorable and tranquil getaway for nature lovers and adventurers alike. A wonderful backdrop for your special moments: birthdays, proposals, anniversaries, getaways or simply stargazing.

The space
As you step into our inviting home, you will be impressed by the stunning architecture with angled walls and high ceilings. You will find a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals to enjoy with family around the dining table as you take in breathtaking mountain views. After a day of exploring Yosemite or simply relaxing in the serene atmosphere of Midpines, retreat to our cozy bedroom - sink into the cozy mattress as you drift to sleep in our freshly cleaned linens and bedding.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home and surrounding acreage. May access the property on the L side of the road (5301 Rumley), down the hill to reach the beautiful corral area behind the barn and horse stalls. Please do not wander beyond Rumley Mine Rd past the fences from dome house to maintain privacy of neighboring properties.

Other things to note
For larger groups, please check out "ET Ranch House: Gateway to Yosemite" located in the same 60-acre property, just across the road. ET Ranch is a spacious house that can sleep 10 people, good for family gatherings or group retreats.
Guests can access the corral area (previously the horse arena).

We are happy to accommodate your pets! Our standard pet fee applies to up to two dogs (1-2). If you have more than two dogs, we can consider it on a case-by-case basis, with an additional fee.

Hello! We are a married couple who moved from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco for a quieter, more balanced lifestyle that Mariposa was able to offer. We have two fantastic children together and an energetic dog. We enjoy traveling and immersing ourselves in different cultures to gain a wider awareness of our world. In hosting, we appreciate being able to meet so many interesting people and want to provide a truly exceptional Yosemite experience.
